Great trip and an unforgettable experience - Such a memorable & fabulous experience. Sunrise Uluru base walk surpassed our expectations. Thank you so much to AAT Kings for the guided tour and the cultural information shared with us, always ensuring respect was maintained. Eating cereal behind a fly net is certainly a first for us😂.

Knowledgeable experienced guides around a giant rock - Aside from the pouring freezing weather, the walk in all its glory with waterfalls, was spectacular. Jimmy and Jess were the best tour guides and even spotted my daughter their jacket. Learnt so much on the walk. Very knowledgeable

Uluṟu at sunrise a perfect start to your day - The red centre experience would be incomplete without visiting and walking around the iconic Uluṟu. You can ride and run the 12.5km trail surrounding this sacred site independently, however walking with a guide who is pointing out and discussing the significance and story telling of some of the rock formations enlightens you and enhances your experience significantly. Otherwise you really would not understand or appreciate what you were looking at. It would just be red rock. Cultural respect means photographing the interesting rock face is prohibited but you walk away with a true sense of why Uluṟu is considered the heart of Australia. It is a pity the tours are significantly expensive, making it beyond the financial reach of many families. We felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this experience. You walk the 12.5 km briskly with opportunity to stop for a few minutes to take it all in. My husband is a fit 80 year old and managed the pace set by the guide. If you have an ailment you would find it difficult. The breakfast was ample and nourishing.

Beautiful Base Walk - We walked anticlockwise which meant the sun rose behind us. This stopped us walking with the sun in our eyes. Breakfast was simple. Guide was knowledgeable. Everyone should do this at least once.

Uluru base walk - The walking and discovery tour of Uluru was very informative and enjoyable. The stories that we learnt were enjoyable and gave us a great insight into the history of Uluru and her people. The one suggestion for improvement would be that if the guide could keep the group together during the walk to encourage more questioning and story telling. Our guide was an exceptionally fast walker and meant our group was spread out until she stopped and people could catch up. Twice the guide started recounting a story and the whole group had not caught up.

Memorable and unique - It was a unique experience to visit Uluru by walking the entire base and learning about the lives of the Anangu people and their stories of Uluru. Our guides Glen and Mitch and driver Lucy were knowledgeable, fun and super friendly and their positivity and authenticity made it a great morning.
