Just as advertised! - Truly amazing experience, managed to see aurora on first try! Our guide was professional and nice, and we went to a cozy secluded site 50 km-s from the city where we could watch for aurora undisturbed by others in place. In case we got cold we had a chance to get extra clothing or sit by the fire in a hut while enjoying hot tea and barbecue sausage.

Recommended - Good experience for us and yes we managed to see the northern light. The tour guide is friendly and willing to go all the way to find the aurora lights for us. 1 day before my original planned date (25 Oct), Parpalandia Tour contacted me and suggest me to change 1 day later due to the bad weather (heavily snowing and rain) coming, We really appreciate this type of flexibility and kind gesture. Thank you. But for the communication on the time pick up, I think this area need to improve more as i need to check the timing with the tour company twice.

Awesome Northern lights experience - It was a great experience with Parpalandia group. It was supposed to be a group tour, but because of off season it ended up like a private tour. We got to see the northern lights and were also served with hot sausages and hot juice. Additionally, our guide - Jose was super friendly and made us feel comfortable; also gave us lot of information about Finland and northern lights. He was kind to click our beautiful pictures with the northern lights. Would definitely recommend this tour and the guide- Jose

Very nice guides - I booked this tour but cancelled later as I was confused which tour was suitable for us (me and two kids 6 and 9). Even after the cancellation, Marcelo contacted us whether we were still interested in the tour as we may possibly see the lights that night. So I decided to join the tour. The guides were nice and cheerful. We enjoyed having barbecue (sausages, cheese, etc. -very tasty! ) and watching beautiful stars in the sky… and finally we were able to see the northern lights. The pictures they took and sent to us were very beautiful. It was definitely one of the great memories we had in Finland. My kids also enjoyed the tour thanks to the kind and helpful guides. Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience and organization - We joined a small group looking for Aurora the 8th of january 2022. We are a family with 2 kids (7 and 5 years old). Our guide was superlative looking for a place far from Rovaniemi (About 50 Km) without lights, very large and uncloudy. After less than 10 minutes we meet the best Aurora of the last years! We spent a lot of time looking at the sky and the guide Veronika made pictures of us, explaining everything about in very professional way but also very friendly and warm. I felt to be with friends. At late night we come back and guides stopped into the return route to catch still other wonderful moments with Aurora. It was a wonderful dream with a perfect organization. We highly recommend!

Get to see the magnificent Aurora Borealis - Excellent experience to finally be able to see the Northern Lights at its best! Lovely small group and guide with lots of food provided such as Finnish cheese, sausages, marshmallows and hot juice. We were picked up from our hotel in Rovaniemi and dropped off back. They provided warm clothing including gloves and snow boots. Thank you!

Wonderful time with family - Excellent place to visit, easy to reach but still remote enough location. They also have huskys and cabins but we only went for a ride with snowmobiles. Service was excellent and staff was really friendly. Thank You, Ismo and all 🎅🏻

Good experience - Besides not seeing the lights we traveled to a nice place and we could see the stars and a clear sky. Our guide Jose made good sausages and explained about the northern lights.

There’s no “chasing” the aurora, more like hiding from it! - The guide was very nice, but the tour is just terrible if you want to see the aurora. There is no “chasing” like the description says. You will drive about 45mins- 1 hr SW of the city and sit at the edge of a farm. The guide had a fire in a hut but it was too smoky to go in for me. I guess the vent doesn’t work? It was brutally cold outside, and without the aurora (which was actually going on in full force 1 hr north of the city) it was just a miserable night. The next morning people in my hotel were raving about how nice the aurora was, and how their guides did everything they could to find the aurora. Again, our guide was a very nice person, but I really had wanted to see the aurora, not sit and watch people eat sausage in a way too smoky room. I’m so disappointed. Just know what you are getting if you book this tour.
