My birthday on the canal - The boat 🚢 ,the service, and the food. The atmosphere was very calm and friendly. It made my birthday. Thankyou a lovely experience.

Wonderful ride along the canal and all the food was great - highly recommend! - The rain was pouring but once in the boat the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The tea served was delicious - great sandwiches and tasty cakes! The ride was smooth and watching the young lad getting on and off to open and close the lock gates was fascinating! Highly recommend this trip!

Afternoon tea - fresh sandwiches lovely cakes even had a cool beer. Very Clean barge, 2 toilets always a must for the 2 hr trip. Loved it. Will be back for the fish and chips evening ride.

Cruising on a sunny afternoon.... - A very pleasant way to spend a relaxing and enjoyable hour and a half. The food was nice and just the right amount, served by polite and pleasant young men who came round 3 times offering top-ups. There was an option to buy from the bar too if desired.

Staff went above and beyond. - Booked this trip for my mum’s birthday. Called Viator to request Gluten Free food as my mum is Coeliac. This was confirmed with the booking agent that he’d made a note on the booking. Unfortunately, on arrival Skipton River Cruises weren’t aware of the dietary requirements as it wasn’t on our booking. The staff there told us that they would do their best to rectify it. The staff were absolutely incredible and picked up Gluten Free food along the way. There was hardly any delay to us getting our food, despite having to make a whole new afternoon tea for my mum. Thank you to the staff at Skipton River Cruises for sorting this straight away. My mum absolutely loved the trip. For anyone with dietary requirements who are booking through Viator - I would recommend calling Skipton River Cruises directly in advance to make sure they’re aware.

Definitely a trip to go on - A fabulous experience, lovely fresh food and reasonably priced drinks - staff were very pleasant and happy to join in our banter as a party of 13 women out for a joint 60th birthday! Thanks Harry you were great! Loved it, thank you!

Excellent - We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea . Lovely relaxing afternoon travelling along the canal while enjoying a well presented & delicious afternoon tea and a glass of fizz. Special mention to the staff who were efficient and friendly from the initial booking to the completion of the trip . Nothing was too much trouble and we appreciated the thoughtful special touches . We arrived early and enjoyed a walk round Skipton . The church well worth a visit . Would recommend the canal trip .

Nice and peaceful - It was a great peaceful trip with excellent food. The views were amazing. All the staff were very professional and always cheerful and smiling.
