Simply brilliant.... - Well Paul ... Thank you for a brilliant day. The walk through the temperate rainforest was absolutely brilliant and very educational...even for a couple in their late 50's .... Lunch was perfect and the cycle ride around the blueberry/cranberry fields, rivers, canals was perfect. Everything was 'easy' ... No drama...just a really enjoyable day out. Your friendly manner puts everybody at ease.... Even if one member of our group wanted to 'go their own way' rather than stay with the rest of the cyclists.... You managed everything very well. Your equipment and cycles are clearly well maintained, and the varied frame sizes catered for everybody on the ride. I've got plenty of retro Gary Fisher frames if you want a mountain bike building up. :-) Have a great life and we hope your excellent tour/adventure business goes from strength to strength. Kind regards Carl & Jackie.

A great experience and wonderful day - The self guided tour was excellent. Paul picked us up from our hotel in downtown Vancouver and drove us to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. He set us up with the bikes (new well maintained e-bikes), gps maps (with backups and chargers), water, pannier bags, helmets, and card to buy return ticket. The recommended route was a great day trip ride. Almost entirely away from cars and on paved or gravel bike trails. The bicycle infrastructure on the island was great. We got lunch at the flying otter by the water and watched the float planes and seal. Everything went smoothly, and Paul is a caring and knowledgeable host. He did his best to make the day a success. Highly recommend.

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! - This tour is a must while staying in Vancouver. It’s a great way to get out of the city and into nature for a day! We traveled with family, 3 adults and 2 kids, (aged 12 and 10). Paul, our guide was amazing with all age groups. He was knowledgeable and attentive and throughout the tour he found time to interact with each member individually. The scenery was stunning. So many excellent photo ops and instagramable moments. We even had 2 separate bear sightings in the wild which was just the cherry on top of an already amazing day. Lunch was included at a lovely farm to table restaurant. Bikes were in excellent condition. Paul got a puncture along the way and had it fixed and back on track in about 10 minutes. He used it as a teachable moment for my kids, as they learned how to fix a punctured tire! Overall an amazing experience for our family. 10/10 recommend Paul and Into the Wild Tours! Tips: if the weather is appropriate, there’s an opportunity to jump in a beautiful fresh water mountain creek. Bring a bathing suit and towel! Also, if you can, bring your guide some Jelly Tots!

Bike tour with bears on the way! - Great tour. Our guide, Paul, gave us informative forest tour followed by excellent bike ride. The icing on the cake was a close up but safe sighting of two bear cubs with mumma black bear - all while we were riding. As two 70 year olds (plus) we managed the physicality - had great lunch, met new friends. Highly recommend this tour!

Hidden Vancouver Area Gems - If you want something other then "Stanley Park" and "Capilano Suspension Bridge" and you are active, this is the trip for you! NB: steep stairs!!! Leave the car behind and get chauffeured in a luxurious van. Paul is a great communicator and incredibly knowledgeable regarding the area and the local culture. I would not have found these hidden gems on my own. Excellent bikes that are included. We lucked out at the local market as they were celebrating a 50th anniversary. Either way, great locales and excellent food!

A great outdoor adventure close to downtown Vancouver - If you are looking to get an outdoor adventure during your stay in Vancouver, I highly recommend Paul and his company, Into the Wild. Paul is very personable and congenial. He is also very knowledgeable regarding the history of the area and nature. We were lucky enough to spot a black bear on the bike ride. The hike was very nice and scenic. Paul recommend an excellent hike for my son and I, which we did the following day. Lunch at Hopcott Farms was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get an enjoyable outdoor experience while in Vancouver.
