Beautiful landscape and views from the tram and chairlift. - Crew : 5 stars. Empathetic young people. It was too hot at the top and we were offered ice popsicles at the top while waiting for chairlift. Tram cew instructed at perfect times as to when the tram would start seating. Restaurant crew: 5 stars Food at the top restaurant: 4 stars Views of Vancouver skyline from chairlift is a once in a lifetime experience! Got to visit the grizzly bear habitat and enjoyed a bit of birds in motion show as well. All 5 lookouts are great. Take time to soak in! Overall, no complaints and a fantastic experience!

Physicial, different and intertaining - What a beautiful activity! We hiked up the mountain on foot in 1 hour and 45 minutes, and it was very interesting and tiring. We could have taken the cable car up (8 minutes / $70). The hike is difficult because it goes up continuously for the equivalent of 200 floors... We are adults in our fifties, used to long hikes, and found it difficult but doable. Beautiful view at the top and some typically Canadian activities: a lumberjack show, a show with an owl, and 2 grizzly bears in a large enclosure. It was impressive. To go down, you must take the cable car (20$). In summary, it's physical, different and informative. I recommend it.

Our best time in Vancouver - A brilliant day out, admittedly in glorious weather. From the pickup in downtown Vancouver to the top of the chair lift this is an experience not to be missed. Bird show, lumberjack show and chair lift are all included in the ticket price. Terrific.

Breathtaking Views and Steep Terrain Await, But Consider the Season - Hiking up Grouse Mountain proved to be an exhilarating adventure! While the terrain was challenging, with steep inclines for the majority of the hike, the experience was well worth the effort. It's definitely not easy so I would recommend the hike if you're okay with hiking. Upon reaching the top, we found the amenities to be limited. Disappointingly, the lumberjack show and birds of prey talk and demonstration were not operational due to the 'shoulder season,' yet ticket prices remained unchanged. With only one café open at the summit, I would recommend that you bring your own snacks and drinks. We opted to take the gondola down, as many others were hiking up, and were treated to breathtaking views of Vancouver along the way. For those seeking the full experience, I recommend waiting until the summer months when more attractions are likely to be available.

Please be aware— check for busy timeframes before you go - The ride was exceedingly packed-in with way too many people. Felt scary. Yes it was a Saturday, however more than half of us had nowhere to hold on — plus could NOT see the view because we were like sardines-in-a-can.

Not at all worth it - Dirty gondolas, attractions not that exciting. Sea to sky is much better. You also might get your stuff stolen in the parking lot with it being situated so close to Vancouver. You’re welcome.

Poor customer service - I agree the views are amazing but we tried to take the ride to the peak and after waiting for 45 minutes we were told they were having some issues and that we should leave and come back in an hour. We returned only to find an extremely long line and when I spoke with the people that sent us away, we were told to go to the back of the line and we had to wait another 30 minutes. It seems they should have a better system for people that are turned away to allow them to get on faster. Very frustrating experience! On a lighter note we did love the bird show and the views are spectacular. If we had been treated differently this would be rated a five star.

Complete rip-off! Totally mis-sold attraction - 4 adults and an infant had 3 days in Vancouver 14th-16th May. Grouse Mountain looked a great attraction though expensive (£205 for half a day). However, the Viator offer included the Skyride cable car and other attractions such as lumberjack show, Birds in Motion Show, grizzly bears, chairlift to the peak and a free shuttle bus running between downtown Vancouver and Grouse Mountain. We therefore bought 4 adults tickets for 16th May 2024 on Viator website. The Grouse Mountain website has a shuttle bus summer schedule showing the first bus leaves Canada Place at 9am so we all arrived at 8:50am and asked one of the tour operators where the shuttle bus left from. She advised us that the shuttle bus did not start operating until Friday 17th May. We then had to find a taxi large enough to take 4 of us plus an infant and that cost an additional Canadian $37. We got to the mountain and took the Skyride which is very nice though takes less than 10 minutes to get to the top. My daughter then went to the Information Centre to get a map so we could plan seeing the shows and walking around. She returned and told us the Lumberjack Show and Birds in Motion Show did not start until Saturday 18th May! When I made the booking for the 16th May, if Viator or Grouse Mountain had stated that the shows and the shuttle did not start until 17th and 18th May, I would never have paid £205 for a 20 minute cable car ride up and down the mountain. Before I made the booking, I checked the Grouse Mountain website and the only date references were the shows would open for the summer season but no specific dates were given. Just before we left, I checked the Grouse Mountain website again and, under News and Events, it stated that the Grouse Grind "will open for the season" on 27th April 2024. As Grouse Mountain only has Winter and Summer seasons, it was reasonable to assume that the season referred to as opening on 27th April 2024 was the Summer season and that therefore the promoted summer attractions would be available. What really annoys me is that Viator knew exactly the date my family were travelling to Grouse Mountain. The decent and responsible action would have been to at least advise us that these other attractions would not be available when we visited. This was not something subject to the weather and out of their control. This was a known fact at the time Viator took my money. No one in their right mind would pay over £200 for a 20 minute cable car ride and a view of the mountains. Viator had a duty of care to advise me of attractions that would definitely not be available and they made no mention of it. I have used Viator many, many times over the years and I have always been very happy with the service and the accuracy in describing what is included in the price. This time, my family are so disappointed and angry as we feel the whole offer was a rip-off and totally deceitful. If Viator try and claim it is the fault of Grouse Mountain, then Viator, as the reseller should take that up with Grouse Mountain and refuse to promote their product until Grouse Mountain are more honest and openly communicate what is and isn't available. And then, as the final insult, my family had to pay another CA $40 to get an Uber back to downtown Vancouver. So we paid over £250 for a 3 hour round trip to see a mountain top and two sad grizzly bears. I would totally avoid this attraction until Viator and Grouse Mountain stop taking people's money with very deceitful practices.
