Beautiful view! - This was absolutely beautiful! The wait for tickets was frustrating and didn't seem like there was a good reason for it. But the ride was smooth, and staff were all very friendly.

Mountain top - Fun ride to top of mountain. Good free shows. Has restaurant, but bbq and brews was closed, that was a disappointment.

A wonderful dose of nature with breathtaking views - Stunningly beautiful with several things to do. The birds of prey talk is really engaging, the cable car ride up to the top is stunning, and the ski-lift up to the very peak is serene. The views from the top are breathtaking. We ate at the restaurant at the lodge and the food was absolutely excellent too. The facilities are all good and we had a genuinely wonderful day at Grouse Mountain.

Very relaxing - Beautiful place, where you can as little or as much as you want to. We saw all the shows and they were good and informative. Once you get the ride up, you only pay for whatever food and beverages you want

Lovely place - Sadly the day we went it was shrouded in cloud so no spectacular view for us. We did however get up close to the grizzly bears Cooler and Grinder, saw an excellent lumberjack show and raptor display. On a clear day I expect it would be spectacular.

Prettiest views - We combined our visit with a stop at Capialano Bridge but opted for a self-drive day. They are quite close and only a short drive from Vancouver downtown. It’s a great way to pass the time with some of the best views back to the city you’ll see. There’s a plethora of things to do at the top depending on what your energy levels are. Zip-lining, MTB trails, chairlifts, hikes and bear or bird watching. There is a very expensive gondola to ride to the top and places to eat or drink once you get up there. We got many insta-worthy photos there. I think it’s a great option for families with multiple ages.

Full day affair-nice family outing - Free shuttle from Waterfront (Canada place) but fairy infrequent so timing is importsnt. 20 min car ride but will set back about 1 hour upon return (14:30 bus took longer). Unsure of easy options getting there by public transportation… may have to cab it. Pricey admission but worth it. The blue gondolas are for 4-6 people but shaky at times. VERY HiGH so those with fear of heights, may want to opt for larger size red gondola. Lumberjack show, grizzly bear enclosure (very close to animals) and a GREAT bird of prey show. Very educational and fun, highly recommend to arrive 15-10 min in advance as fills up bleachers fast. Overall, one can spend an easy 2-4 hours onsite. There is a children’s playground in tree canopy. Good for older kids 5+ as high up and parents can’t access it (small, weight restrictions I’m sure). Please parents** free PSS*** do NOT allow your kids to RUN below canopy where benches are. Rocky and a little girl ran and slipped on rock and hit her head rather HaRD barely missing a massive boulder. Some kids tripped on suspension bridge and hurt their foot. Fun but slow down! Some other climbing activities but these are paid. Drinking water is accessible on mountain.

If you hike just know you only need the download ticket. The shuttle is free and gets you to the trail head - Grouse mountain was great however it was not clear to me that I did not need “admission” to the park, and if I was going to do the hike , I ONLY needed a download ticket which would have been much less expensive than the round trip which I paid for. Also for the bus ride back there was no que to get on the bus so when the bus came it was a free for all with people pushing through to get on, (people can be so rude!). But other than that…the Grinder trail was very very challenging which we appreciated, and the park is beautiful!

Expensive trip for a good view - Felt tired and getting ready to hibernate for winter and as a result significantly over priced The Eco walk was badly signed leading to bits missed and bits needing to be redone. Lumberjack was tedious and pastiche. Chairlift in need of some renovation and Lupins cafe barely had any food. Some if the Other eateries away from the main centre were closed. Views terrific and staff friendly - and knowledgeable about the bears but let down by the end of season feel Think twice before spending your money

Last time for us - There is a beautiful view from top and the log show [ same one for ten years] is fun to watch. However this is the most over rated place to buy a souvenir, most prices are double or even triple what is r3easonable. Most people spend a minute or so in there looking and leave. that explains why the place is empty.
