Amazing experience, will... - Amazing experience, will be booking again next time we’re in Fairbanks. Also recommend taking a couple of alcoholic beverages to drink while you wait for the fish to bite.

Wonderful and fun experience! - We had such a fun time ice fishing in Alaska! The weather wasn’t perfect that day, but getting to the lake was super easy — we just followed Google Maps and drove right to the spot. When we arrived, Michael welcomed us with a big smile. After waiting for the other two participants, our group of four headed out together onto the frozen lake. Michael took us to a red tent set up on the ice, and that’s where our adventure started. It felt like something out of a cartoon — I’ve only seen people ice fishing in animated movies, so doing it for real was really exciting. Michael explained everything clearly and showed us how to use the fishing gear. My daughter picked it up right away and kept catching small fish one after another. They were not the big ones we were hoping for, but it was still a lot of fun watching her. Later, Michael helped us try for bigger fish, and we finally caught two nice ones! Overall, this was an unforgettable experience — fun, unique, and something you can only do in Alaska. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Rough start, but overall a great time. - Our trip did not start out well! Communication with the company was frustrating, to say the least. However, once we got everything situated we had a great time. Our guide got us started and frequently gave tips of where to cast, how to switch things up, taught us how to fly fish, and was friendly and professional. Overall a great time!

Overpriced and need better organization - Normally don’t leave reviews but this one is pretty disappointing and I hope other people can think twice before booking. The cabin is comfy and the guide is friendly but 2 stars for three reasons: 1. Way overpriced, especially the 3PM one, there is essentially no difference between this and other options and it is a $50 extra for nothing. 2. We have 10 people in the cabin and did not catch a single fish in the two hours we were there. I know it is nobody’s fault but still very disappointing. There is no backup plan for the advertised cookout and the guide said if you didn’t catch any fish there is no cookout. I went to a different tour last year and the first thing the guide tell us is “don’t worry we have fish if you can’t catch any”. Such poor organization and false advertising is not ok with a 200/pp trip IMO. 3. False advertising, the underwater camera is broken since the middle of the year and still broken at this time.
