Kokopelli Surf is a MUST-DO on your list! - We were there May 6, 2024. Booking was smooth. They answered all our questions quickly, via email. I booked my 13 year old and 10 year old great-nephews for a private surfing lesson. Neither had done it before. Brandon (co-owner) was ABSOLUTELY fabulous with the boys and very patient. They just had a blast! Both managed to get up on the boards (after practicing a number of times. LOL!). We loved Brandon's stories about his history with surfing and his travels around the world, competing in surfing competitions. His passion for the sport shone through every sentence. And it shows through his attention to detail in explaining the purpose of every move. I highly recommend Kokopelli Surf!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!

best surf camp in myrtle - brandon was an incredible surf instructor!! we went out there for our first time surfing and with his wonderful guidance, we were able to ride waves and find flow in the experience. he brought his surf pup koko along for the adventure! an epic experience, best surf camp in myrtle that’s for sure

Fun Experience for two tween boys! - My boys instructor was hands on the whole time and so positive with the kids. I highly recommend. He adjusted to their strengths and weaknesses.

It was a wonderful experience - We signed our 3 grand kids up for surfing lessons and they said it was the best part of our trip. We were at Cherry Grove by the pier. The instructors were on time and made sure no one was left out. They did an amazing job of demonstrating techniques and explaining positions on the surf board while the kids were still on the beach.

Incredibly communicative and friendly ! - The instructors were perfectly on time and made sure that everyone was properly stretched before starting the lesson. They were incredibly attentive and made sure that no one was left out. Instructions and steps were clearly left and there was constant reassurance that everyone understood what to do. The Best Around!!! - Brandon is an excellent teacher. Great at explaining the concepts and nuances of surfing in a way that only a trained professional can. I came having never surfed before and left not only having ridden numerous waves, but also with a solid understanding of everything from surfer lingo, to wave dynamics, and a general knowledge of different surfboards and safety pratices. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Brandon and Kokopelli. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Awesome group surf lesson! - Jerry was such an amazing surf coach! My kids had a group surf lesson on July 23, 2023. He did an awesome job of stretching, modeling and explaining positions on the surf board while still on the beach, and stayed in the water with them the entire time! He watched for the perfect waves and sent each kid out, then he would watch them as they attempted the surf and give them tips on how to be more successful with each try out on the board.

SO FUN - I loved the surf lesson so much! My instructor Jerry was so friendly, encouraging, and helpful, and everyone there just was happy and fun. I got up on the board pretty quickly and felt extremely confident in my skills walking out of the lesson. 10/10 would recommend, will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area!

Knowledgeable Instructors and Great Time - Did a private surf lesson and it was phenomenal. The instructors know what they are doing and are experienced. They got us standing up right away!! Highly recommend to anyone in the North Myrtle area.

Private Surf Lesson - My 13 year old daughter took a private surfing lesson with Graham. He was very helpful and personable. My daughter was able to ride waves all the way to the beach! She had a great time! Would totally recommend Kokopelli Surf Camp to anyone!
