What a climb - The hike of Mount Rinjani was challenging but so satisfying once it reached the summit. The view from the top is spectacular. In addition, thank you to Sultan for lending me a jacket and hiking pole for the ascent and also for the complete support of the ascent of the pickup to transport to my hostel in Mataram. Many thanks to the guide and the porters too.

Great company to do this challenge with - We had an amazing team, Edis as our guide and his porters. They were incredible people, very accommodating and professional. Edis managed very well the different fitness levels of people in the group and making sure everyone was well and safe was his top priority. Couldnt have had a better group to do such a challenging task.
Recommend this company.
Regarding the hike itself, it is no easy task. I am fit and it was challenging specially the summit and the amount of waking you do everyday. It is intense and demanding.
We did the 3 days your but given the summit and the rim views were the highlight the 2 days would had been enough.

A memorable trip full of laughter and song that took all the pain away - It was very easy to have everything organised from the very first whatsapp message as Mr. Cakarawala was very responsive and prompt in his replies. He made sure that all my enquiries were addressed to and did not make anything complicated. I even had my trip customised last minute to a solo trip via a different route so that I could go via the Torean valley which was worth it. The organiser had everything taken care of, from pick up at airport to checking me in at basecamp with breakfast included the next day. The basecamp lodge was very cute, built on stilts and had a very spacious and clean bathroom with hot water. The breakfast area had a stunning view of sunrise and Rinjani. I was very fortunate to meet my guide, Dul, who took care of me at every step of the way, from beginning to end. He was a very good companion and was very understanding. The porters were so friendly and funny too, it made my whole trip forever memorable. For the first day, I did not like the western food they prepared for me, and it was always a lot, but after telling them about my preference for local food, they did not have any trouble to cook me the tastiest local food until I finished the trek. The porter was also a very good cook. He was always singing too when walking. The whole team worked like a close knit unit, always together even though I moved quite fast with the guide. I had plenty of water provided and everything was flexible and could easily be discussed with the guide. Truly enjoyed my trip with this outfit and will definitely recommend anyone to go with them. Until next time! Don't forget to ask them to make for you Lombok Nasi Goreng and Lombok Pasta!

The best adventure hike with the company Cakrawala Rinjani - I would recommend to anyone who wants to hike to Mount Rinjani. Do not hesitate to book with Cakrawala Rinjani. Me and my friend made the hike 3D/2N to the summit, my experience was unforgettable in my life, we are climbing for the first time on the Rinjani mountain, and we do not have much experience, but we were lucky enough to meet with the local escort of Senaru Mr. Sultan, the owner, to leave. Our guide Sedi was very helpful during my trip, the food was very tasty and the equipment for trekking It was clean, and all the porters dropped off the garbage on the campsite grounds and brought it to the village. Thank you for my best experience. definitely recommend.

A fabulous experience - This is a difficult trip but it is well organised and i would recommend it.
Mt Sultan was good to deal with.
The walk guides and porters are very nice. The guide was very patient and assisted us with the difficult areas.
It is well organised but quite basic in some ways. For example, the tents are good but the mats are thin. It would have been nice if our group could have sat together for dinner. On the other hand they did deliver dinner and breakfast and tea or coffee to our tent.
Four of us didn't continue down to the lake. They were able to adapt with this change and allocated two porters to return with us and sorted out the return transport afterwards.
The hotel in Senaru, Waroeng Senaru is really charming and we were glad to stay there an extra night.
Thank you for a good experience and thank you too to Mr Sultan.

If you like to push yours yourself, go for it. - Excellent guide, Ris and porters
Hard work to get to the rim
So, if you think walk in rhe Park think again
Your legs will be sore for days after.
The only problem tour was advertised to summit, but February, it's closed, so only can go.to rhe rim
Only after you booked they told you this
And it's not refundable.
Please be aware of this.

Very basic, but especially disorganized trekking, guide we had not well - After the good reviews we expected a lot from the tour, but it was a bit disappointing to be honest. Our group consisted of 7 people, but composed of all other tour operators which was already a bit strange (while high season). Much difference in price, we paid 320 eu for two people, but others of the group 100 or even less pp. There was not really clear communication during the trek; guide spoke moderate English and did not understand all (even simple) questions. There was little interaction or enthusiasm, there was no mention of what the planning of the day looked like, not how far we are going to walk, when we go for lunch, nothing about the surroundings. We actually just went out and the guide walked behind. Twice a piece of wrong route was also caught, while it was said that we went well but then had to go back again. The food was fine, nutritious, but not super tasteful. For women and small people enough, for men a little too little. In terms of facilities otherwise very basic but that is fine if you adjust to it as we did. There is a toilet tent, tents, sleeping bags and mats are fine. In terms of eating moments, you sit on the floor on plastic mats.
