Brilliant afternoon - We did the Norwich Mystery Guide and have completed quite a few others and they never get boring. I love the fact they take you to areas you probably wouldn't have seen. We like to take a picture of the clue and then find a pub of coffee shop to work them out. We eneded this one in a lovely small pub called Adam and Eve which we would never had found if it wasn't for the guide book.

Lovely walk. - I had never been to Norwich before and found the mystery walk really gives you a close look at parts of the city you would not normally see. We made the Belgian monk pub the halfway stage, so we finished the first day there snd started the walk next from the pub again. It was a lovely pub stop and brilliant to end and then start again from there. Norwich is a lovely city and we really enjoyed completing the mystery walk. A great experience and we have also completed bristol and birmingham and will be doing nottingham in October. The guides are a brilliant way to see hidden parts of the cities. Well done for making them so informative and fun. The illustrations are wonderful too.

The Canary Sings - A great sprinkling of historical facts as we traipsed around the centre of Norwich solving the clues. We did it on 16 September 2025, and were alerted at the start, by some helpful city centre tourist guides that clue two was hidden behind scaffolding and tarpaulin, and was so very awkward to read, but we managed it after a lot of straining. One of the maps incorrectly referenced Lower Goat Lane, but everything else was perfect, particularly the beers on offer at The Belgian Monk and we had an enjoyable day. Please keep the guides coming.

A Different View Of Norwich - This was an anniversary present for my parents and we really enjoyed trying to solve the clues and exploring a different part of the city that we wouldn’t normally see on a typical castle/museum/cathedral type day. We really appreciated the cafe/pub recommendations as that meant my parents could have a special lunch during the trail too that added to the memory. The ‘Did You Know’ sections were very interesting and we were delighted to have found the right answers at the final pub stop. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended, great fun - Completed this with another couple, absolutely excellent. Left the men drinking pints at a couple of points whilst we search for the clues. Great fun, good laughs and lovely food in Belgium Monk along the way. Perfect ending ready for the train journey home.

Good day out in the right weather - We decided to try out the Norwich guide as we live nearby and we went with our daughter and grandsons age 8 and 10. Unfortunately, picking one of the hottest days of the year was not a good start and we only got half way through before calling it quits and returning to finish off the following week in cooler weather. We all enjoyed ourselves but have given a 4 for a couple of reasons. We knew the area but we saw other people, who did not, get completely lost on instructions, some places around Norwich Cathedral are particularly difficult to figure out roads etc. Although there is a definitive place to end and relax (no spoilers) it would be useful for others if there was a halfway stopping point. Again, we knew where we could go, but for people not from the area doing the mystery with children it would be useful to know where "child friendly" eating places are without being taken off the route too far to be able to find your way back. At the end of it all both grandsons had a wonderful time and saw things in Norwich they would never have noticed without the guide. I would thoroughly recommend it (ensure you have a drink in case it turns into a 32 degree nightmare!!).

Norwich Canary Mystery - Norwich is a great city with lots to see and do, but the tour guide sent to us needed updating as the clues given were not obviously and one clue was in a church area that was locked up ?? So not a great experience
