One of the highlights of our trip to Norway - This was one of the highlights of our trip to Norway! Snowshoe hiking is a bit of a workout, but it's 100% worth trying at least once. Our guides, Ivar and Jakub, were very experienced and supportive, making sure everyone felt safe and had a great time throughout the whole adventure. To top it off, the views from the mountains were spectacular. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to do something active and memorable in Norway!

Guided Hike to Ryten with Guide to Lofoten is a must-do scenic experience! - I did the snowshoe guided group hike to Ryten with Guide to Lofoten and it was the most beautiful hike I have ever done! The scenery was breathtaking! We were very lucky to have calm sunny winter weather for most of the hike but there was a cold wind at the top, so you need to be prepared with warm clothes if that happens while you are sitting having a tasty hot lunch with coffee or tea, prepared by the guide. Our guide was Jitka and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The snowshoes provided by Guide to Lofoten were excellent and easy to hike in. They also provide equipment such as trekking poles, gaiters, headlamp torch and larger backpacks if required. I left my headlamp torch in a borrowed backpack and, the next day, Radka was kind enough to return it to me and then drove me to Å so I wouldn't need to take the bus. Radka and Ivar are very warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about all things Lofoten. I cannot speak highly enough of Guide to Lofoten and the guided hike to Ryten.

Exhilarating winter hike!! - We did the guided Ryten hike with Guide to Lofoten in Feb. 2026. Our guide, Jacob, did a fantastic job of leading us up a sometimes steep and icy trail, and even through a snowstorm, with smiles and encouragement! He sprinkled in some history and Norwegian culture even though he is not a Norwegian native. The views were out of this world and we had a great time! I would recommend this tour and give it a full five stars!

Perfect trip! - Jakub was very welcoming and friendly, prepared us hot water and snacks, and was attentive to our situation throughout and ready to help. In addition, Jakub says the weather today is exceptional: sunny, breezy and stunningly snowy. Our trip went well, our companions were friendly and everything was perfect. It is highly recommended.

An epic day in the mountains :) - My hike with Radka and Ivar was one of my favourite things I’ve done on my travels. The hike itself is absolutely stunning: you get the most beautiful views of a beach, the ocean and the surrounding mountains. Ivar and Radka are the kindest, most accomodating guides. I really enjoyed getting to know them and I learnt so much about the history and culture on the Lofoten islands through our many conversations throughout the day. Thank you so much again for having me!

Best hiking best guides! - What a lovely day for us with Radka and Ivan! The trip was well designed, not that hard but still challenging to keep you focus. The scenery was absolutely great! But I would like to address our special thanks to our guides. They were so considerate and helpful from the beginning to the end. Lunch was served with several choices with hot beverage, just like they mentione: "tasty". Chairs, selected carefully to make sure we sat conformably. Last but not the least, while Ivan helped our senior friend to go down, Radka photod us all along and emailed me the link. I am really appreciated and I strongly recommend you to join it!!

Great guides in Lofoten - Ivar and Radka are easily the best guides you can find in Lofoten! I have booked three trips with them, and all were excellent. They are friendly, reliable, and they know the archipelago like the back of their hands. The last point is crucial when travelling in harsh winter conditions. I think we couldn't enjoy our time in Lofoten without them.
