- Reine - Reine is the highlight of Lofoten, the dream destination for many travelers. This charming fishing village, despite its challenging parking, is worth the visit. Legal parking requires a short walk to the Reinehalsen viewpoint, but the experience is rewarding. Explore the village, visit the harbor, admire the iconic red fishermen’s cabins, and enjoy the breathtaking viewpoint. It’s a “yes, this is real” kind of place.
- Sakrisoya - Sakrisøy is a must-visit spot with much to offer. It’s an ideal lunch location, boasting the best fish soup and fish burgers at Anita’s Seafood. This charming place offers insight into Lofoten’s fishing culture, with various fish products on display. Consider picking up a dried monkfish head as a unique gift. Authentic local souvenirs are also available. Nearby, find the iconic yellow cabin with Olstinden in the background, along with other photo opportunities.
- Hamnoy Bridge - A visit to Lofoten isn’t complete without capturing a photo of Eliassen Rorbuer from the Hamnøy bridge. This quick stop is essential for its iconic view: red cabins on the water, dramatic peaks, and the classic postcard shot everyone seeks.
- Flakstadpollen - The drive from Svolvær to Reine and back is lengthy, so depending on weather, time, and group energy, additional stops may be made on the return journey. The itinerary remains flexible to adapt to weather conditions, ensuring the best experience. After all, there’s little point in a beach stroll if it’s pouring rain.

The journey takes you from Svolvær to the highlights of western Lofoten — Reine, Hamnøy, Sakrisøy, and Å — along with some of our preferred photo spots and viewpoints. The itinerary is adaptable, taking into account the weather and the group’s energy (because nobody wants to stroll on a beach in pouring rain).
We don’t just recite Wikipedia facts or label every beach as the “Copacabana of Lofoten.” Instead, we offer genuine insights into living year-round on these remote Arctic islands.
Our tours include personal headsets.
Travel in a modern, comfortable minivan with a local guide, enjoy hot beverages, a sweet treat (yes, Kvikklunsj!), and great company.
