Xalam Tours through Viator one of the very best we've ever had. - We took this tour in May and the timing was perfect. The Keukenhof was full of blooming tulips and the exhibition halls were filled with amazing floral arrangements. It was wonderful. The trip to Giethoorn was fun and we enjoyed having lunch there. We would definitely recommend this tour. But the truly special thing was the kindness shown to us by Mr. Alamudi Naufal. One of our friends accidentally left her purse at the restaurant in Giethoorn and didn't realize it until our return to Amsterdam win the late afternoon. Mr. Naufal arranged to have the purse picked up and delivered to our cruise line before we left. He did this with kindness and grace expecting nothing in return. He is a great asset to him company XALAM Tours and Travels. Thanks to him for saving our vacation.

Beautiful and relaxing - Finally, a wish come true. Although not in full bloom due to the weather, the fields of tulips were a sight to behold. Keukenhof was a delight with its huge collection of tulips and great scenery. Giethoorn was a calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. The boat ride was relaxing and it allowed us a great perspective of the area. Our guide was good but our driver was exceptional, an encyclopedia on wheels! Will definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent tour - Our guide was Alamudi and he did an excellent job with providing background information on tulips and the local area, including Giethoorn. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Amazing Amsterdam - The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Amsterdam and surrounding areas, highly recommended tour. Would have no hesitation in advising family and friends to go on the trip.

Keukenhof was an exceptional experience. - The gardens were wonderful and the sun came out for us. Our tour manager was informative and well humored. The Geithorn canal tour was ok, it would have been nicer if sunny.

A Beautiful Day in the Netherlands - Keukenhof Gardens were amazing. We were allowed to roam through the gardens at our own pace and spent nearly 3 hours there. While travelling to Giethoorn (about 2 hours) we had an opportunity to see the Dutch countryside and Maria - our guide - explained the dyke system used for water control.

Heavenly Tulips - My husband and I wanted to see Keukenhof and Giethoorn and didn’t want the hassle of renting a car etc. this trip was perfect. It took us early to Keukenhof and we had several hours to explore the gardens and the tulips. Our guide Maria, gave us the best route to see everything there. On the way to Giethoorn, we say multiple fields of blooming tulips. Maria gave us a short history of all the important Dutch towns that we passed. She was delightful. Our driver Tony, (who was 80!) was excellent as well. We loved our experience and would highly recommend this trip for the convenience and efficiency.

Beautiful Gardens & Picturesque Village - The Keukenhof Tulip Gardens were beautiful, and the amount of time there was perfect. The town of Giethoorn was picturesque, and the canal tour was fascinating. However, given the time it took to get there, more time should have been allowed to explore the village after the canal tour.

TERRIBLE - I organised my whole trip from New Zealand to see the tulips only to have them want to change the date on me within 24 hours of our tour We were flying out the next day so couldn’t change They offered no alternative They also mentioned my disability might be a problem when they cancelled us I had booked it months ago The hotel booked an alternative for us in 10 min I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

Changed meeting place - This trip may have been nice if we were able to go on it. I was told to meet at the Ibis hotel at 9:00 we arrive at 8:15 and waited for a bus that never showed up. I had no idea they changed the meeting place. The people said they tried to contact me but we had just arrived the day before and apparently the message was not delivered to me. I would expect that at this price they could have sent a representative to the original meeting place to inform us of the change. When i finally got in touch with them they said the bus had already left and suggested I get a taxi to drive us out to Keukenhof. The cab ride would have been quite expensive so we found the tulip bus, but by the time we waited in line for the bus and arrived at the garden the guide told us we only had one hour before the bus left for the 2 hour drive to Giethoorn. At this point we opted to just take the entry tickets to the garden and forget the rest of the trip. I went to Amsterdam to see the tulips, this change of bus stop ruined our day. Luckily we enjoyed our time in the Garden but will never use this company again.
