Jabal Akhdar - Al Suwjara Village started with one family.
The village is now divided into the old and the new. The new village is nearly 20 minutes hike away from the old one. Four-wheel cars can drive all the way to the new village but to access the old village, one must climb down one side of the mountain, cross a wooden bridge, and climb another to reach the old houses.
Cliff Guest House started with one room, then after three years cliff house become attractive for many travellers going to Jebel Akhdar, and then now they have 7 rooms and more for renovations with the mountain cliff view, its traditional old style built by stone from the mountain.
They have different suites, double room, and twin room they have the modernize bathroom and beds for the comfort of the guest. The food served are being cooked by Mohammed al Shu reiki family.

Birkat Al Mouz Old Village-Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn - Jebel Akhdar - Al Suwjara Village
We depart Muscat and head to the base of Jebel Akhdar, located in an archaic village known as Birkat Al Mauz. From this point, we ascend to Jebel Akhdar, also referred to as the Green Mountain, a home to numerous fruit plantations and beautiful rose gardens. Take the opportunity to stroll through the hills and appreciate the panoramic vistas of the valley. Jebel Akhdar offers various attractions, like Diana Point that was once visited by Princess Diana. Afterward, we continue our journey to Al Suwjara Old Village- ‘The Cliff Guest House.’ Al Suwjara village exhibits an example of a time-honored Omani village with houses crafted from mud and stone. This place beautifully intertwines the charm of ancient heritage with modern aesthetics to create a unique tourist spot. Finally, we conclude our visit and drive back to Muscat.
