Unforgettable trip to Nizwa and the forts of Bahla and Jabrin from Muscat - I booked this trip directly with Star Tours Oman via email. The communication went easily and correctly. The old town of Nizwa was very beautiful. There was plenty of time to visit the souk, to taste a dozen kinds of dates, and to visit the Nizwa Fort. In the afternoon we visited Fort Bahla and Fort Jabrin. These two forts were recently restored and are very beautiful. I cannot thank my guide Ali enough for the effort he made to make this trip unforgettable.

Day trip to Nizwa. - Abdel Majid's guide service in Nizwa, Oman, exceeded our expectations. His in-depth knowledge of the area and insightful commentary added immense value to our experience. From navigating Nizwa's historic sites to sharing local stories, Abdel Majid's guidance made our visit memorable. Fun Day trip with Majid and Star Tours - We had a tour with Majid to see the Nizwa Fort, Bahla Fort, and Jabreen Castle. We also saw the Nizwa souq. It was a really great tour with Majid as our guide! We learned a ton about Muscat, Oman, the Omani people and traditions, as well as lots of great info about the places we visited. We had a lovely lunch from a local restaurant, and Majid had plenty of cold water for us - it was hot the day we went on our tour! I would recommend this tour and Majid to anyone looking for a great day trip from Muscat!

A historical - A historical full day trip was a wonderful experience. The fortresses and the castles was amazing. Bahla fort, jabrin castle and the nizwa fort and nizwa souq. Our guide was kind and friendly tour guide.

Jebel akhdar and nizwa souq & fort - Jebel akhdar is cooler than in Muscat it was a nice day trip to see this place. Really breathtaking and beautiful mountain views. Make sure that you have a 4WD vehicle because they are not allowing to use a salon car and to have a special guide who can drive safely. I highly recommend to use Star tours for this wonderful experience.

Awesome tours - This was the great tour we had and I would give it more stars however I'm unable to lol. It was a birthday trip for the wife and she absolutely loved every minute and it was worth every penny! We will be doing the big tour next time I do believe! Thank you guys for being AWESOME!

Omani castles and forts and their historical context - This tour helped us get a good sense of the architecture of castles and forts in Oman, since 2 of each are on the tour. Our guide Said was extremely informative and takes joy in his country and the places we visited, even though he probably visits them almost every day. He knows his way through each place and tells about the features, sometimes asking us to guess about the purpose of a particular feature. We especially enjoyed the freshly made Omani bread in the courtyard near Nizwa Castle and Fort -- recommend it for a light lunch stop! We also tasted dates and Omani sweets (halwa). Said also taught us a lot about Omani history, the Ibadi branch of Islam, and the Omani economy and demographics. Note: if you want to see the suq (particularly the goat and cattle markets), you will need to go on a tour that leaves much earlier in the day in order to arrive around 7 -- this was not that tour.
