You can create your own tour! Explore the UNESCO-listed temples and shrines of Nikko starting from one of the most gorgeous architecture in Japan, the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, father of the capital of Japan which was called EDO for 265 years until 1867.
Any request is welcome as it will be a fully private tour only for your group, any location in the Nikko area can be included in your original itinerary within the time frame.
Ex: Edo Wonderland, Kegon waterfall, and Lake Chuzenji, visiting a sake brewery etc.,.

Good Fortune in Nikko - Both our guide, Ken, and our driver were amazing hosts during our day around Nikko! We were able to discover the beauty of the nature just outside Tokyo. The rich history of the culture and religion at the various Shrines and Temples. We enjoyed traveling to the “top”of Japan viewing the most serene and beautiful waterfalls and volcano made lakes. They ensured this day was extra special for our son’s birthday by arranging a birthday surprise and strawberry tart during our lunch. I can promise that Ken will ensure you have a memorable and amazing day in Japan on this tour. Thank you!!

Great tour, great guide! - The tour was great and the guide was very knowledgable. We had a great day catered to our group (2 adults, 2 toddlers).
But, if you ask me to plan it again I would get a car for 2 to 3 days and stay in Nikko for 1 or 2 nights as there is to much to see and do for 1 day especially if you want to include Edo Wonderland!

Awesome Day Trip From Tokyo To Niko - Our guide Kenji planned an excellent trip. Kenji is easy going, very friendly and provided a lot of interesting information. We saw the Toshogu shrine, Lake Chuzenji, Shinkyo Bridge and the Kegon Waterfall. A truly memorable experience. Kenji even spotted some wild monkeys!

Tour of Nikko - Our hosts for the day, Hoshi and Toshi, were friendly, informative, generous with their time. We had a wonderful experience in Ashikaga flower park and Edo Wonderland. Kegon Falls was very impressive even with low water levels, and the view at the lake was breathtaking.

Experience Japan! - We had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide Bob and driver Tak were amazing. They filled our day with history and knowledge of the places we visited. They made travel so easy and comfortable to each location. I highly recommend this tour as a great way to spend a day in Japan!

Nikko day trip from Tokyo - Great trip with guide and driver .A full day in a comfortable 9 seater van for 6 of us .It is worth requesting the larger van so you can swap around .especially going to Nikko as it takes a while between 2-3 hours .The express way was blocked so they took us another way through some of the back area which was great as got to see the types of houses etc .We left at 800 am from tokyo and back about 730 pm but worth it if you only have the day .there were 3 couples so the extra room great .We booked from the cruise terminal .they fit in with your times .we had 2 days in Kyoto so no rush back to ship .
