Exploring the Green Line with Eleni was an unforgettable experience! - Her vivid storytelling made the complex history of Nicosia come alive – we could truly feel the tension and beauty of this divided city. The tour was perfect for adults and kids alike: engaging, insightful, and full of local perspectives you wouldn’t find in any guidebook. Eleni’s warm, open-hearted Cypriot hospitality made us feel instantly welcome. Special thanks for the amazing restaurant tips for the evening – a perfect ending to a perfect day! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cyprus!

The most authentic guide we ever had - Dear Eleni, thank very much for your time. It was very interesting listening to you and talking with you. You are a very kind and wonderful hostess and the best representative of your country. We learned a lot about the way it is to live in a divided country, especially in a divided city. You could tell it from the heart, because it is your live. We recommend you 100%, Joerg & Dina from Hamburg

History, stories and wonderful encounters - We really enjoyed the tour with Eleni. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical context, but what stood out most were her personal stories and the way she introduced us to both the physical spaces and the people on either side of the Green Line. Eleni has a thoughtful, compassionate way of guiding—she helped us see the city through a more human lens. It never felt like a scripted tour; it felt like being shown around by someone who truly cares about the place and its history. We left with a much richer understanding of Nicosia, and a deep appreciation for the resilience of its people. Highly recommended!

Every visitor interested in Cyprus should take this tour - We have been in Cyprus for 2 months, and were in the old city of Nicosia for 2 days before our tour. Since taking this tour we are seeing everything - including other cities such as Larnaca - through completely different eyes. Neighborhoods, architecture, even customs have acquired layers of historic and cultural meaning. Eleni also conducted the tour with the understanding that individuals are involved on both sides of any conflict. Her personal anecdotes added context and depth. They really deserve their own book, podcast series, or similar. We could not recommend this tour more highly to anyone visiting Cyprus. It would be worth going to Nicosia just to take it. It has been the highlight of our 2 months on this amazing island.

Nicosia - south and north walking tour - We did the Nicosia walking tour with Eleni! She is ever so knowledgable and her insight into the history was fantastic! She tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and honestly the best guide we have ever had. If you want to know and learn about the history and culture of Cyprus and the history of the occupation of North Cyprus, then her lived experiences will help you delve further.

Top tour! Well worth doing. - A really wonderful tour of the buffer zone. Eleni is a great guide, able to explain the history and current situation really well. It didn’t feel like a tour, more like a walk with friends. 10 stars!!

A fantastic tour - Eleni is a super friendly tour guide who gave an excellent insight to life on the Turkish Cypriot side of Nicosia together with her own personal stories. She also advised on how to enjoy the rest of our stay in Nicosia, recommended excellent restaurants and showed us the Turkish Hammam, which was a wonderful experience. She goes over and above to help and we also visited various villages in the Troodos she recommended before returning home. She made our last days of our stay so much more worthwhile. Thank you Eleni for such a wonderful tour and will recommend to friends and family. Hope to see you again for yet more. Clqre Robinson

Feels real and a memory to remember - It feels more that going into the past than other experiences. You can enter through a narrow covered walkway and see and feel the no mans land strip. Looking either way whilst walking between the border points you can see falling down building which are overgrown. Inside the Turkish side you feel the difference between the 2 countries. Shops covers the narrow streets/passages which provide the usual Turkish gifts with great foods stores and some usual gifts too. Well worth a trip
