290 Yacht Club Dr - L4K Charters offers a superb nearshore angling adventure on the calm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay, with entry points from Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, and Destin, FL. Captain Rob is equipped to host up to four fishing enthusiasts and one additional guest. Each excursion is tailored to the fisherman’s skill level and preferences. Participants will pursue species such as Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Flounder, and Trout, among others. Top-notch Penn gear and live bait are provided for each fisherman.
Fishers will appreciate a gentle cruise, cozy seats, shade, and an onboard lavatory. The vessel “at EASE,” a flawless 22-foot center-console boat by Sea Hunt, launched in 2017 and propelled by a 200hp Yamaha engine, is ideal for family outings, novices, and avid anglers alike. All fishing licenses, tackle, and bait are supplied. Visitors should only bring their own refreshments and snacks.
Introduced in 2019: The Memory Maker excursions are brief jaunts that offer rapid fishing opportunities just a short distance from the dock. These trips are perfect for first-time fishers and youngsters who might not be ready for an entire day at sea. It’s an excellent option for families with school-aged children eager to experience fishing in Destin.

Additional Information
Skipper Rob Hansill, originating from Florida and a former U.S. Marine, is a proud father of two boys and shares a home in Niceville with his wife, to whom he’s been married for 25 years. Rob possesses a Masters endorsement on his Merchant Mariner Credential, Title 46 U.S. Code, and has been certified by The United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
Captain Rob is passionate about aiding individuals to discover their happiness and deal with sorrow. A single day spent at sea can dispel waves of sadness. Those who’ve been affected by tragedy, battled cancer, or served in combat are given first consideration. Purple Heart holders and Wounded Warriors are invited to fish at no charge (Advance telephonic coordination would be appreciated).
Everyone is invited to enjoy a day ‘at EASE’.
- Children 3-years and older are welcome. They must wear a Coast Guard Approved live jacket at all times.
- Guests prone to sea-sickness should take necessary precautions prior to boarding the vessel.

Truly a Memorable Experience!!!! - If you've taken the time to look into reviewing L4K Charters, all I can say is,,, Do Not Hesitate to Book with Capt. Rob, I Booked the Memory Maker Trip, The Name alone says it all, mainly for my 5yr. old Grandson, Capt. Rob did an amazing job making my Grandson and all of us feel very comfortable aboard "Dress Blues" it was like Fishing with a longtime Family Friend., Grandson caught a 22" Red Fish he actually caught more Fish than any of Us Creating a Memorable experience for us that will last us all lifetime.
Again, Capt. Rob we cannot Thank You enough.

If you have kids, the best experience your money can buy. - If you have kids (I have three under 7), this is the best experience you can buy when vacationing in northern FL. Two hours of fishing in the bay with Captain Rob and my kids loved every second. Even have a little girl that wasn’t a big fan of fishing unlike my 5 year old son. She had a blast. Rob is terrific with kids. Very patient and took care of questions and pretty much anything the kids through at him. 5/5 would recommend. His fishing trip will be an annual must for our Florida trips from here on.

wonderful trip - We had a great time fishing with Captain Rob ! His boat is beautiful and his equipment is top notch ! We especially liked the time and effort he put into making sure our 12 year old had a great fishing experience. Highly recommend ! We caught 29 fish during the 3 hours we spent with Captain Rob. We will definitely book another fishing trip with him next time we are in the area !!

Book. This. Charter. - You need to believe the rave reviews here! Best fishing experience we could have asked for and we can't say enough good things about this captain and this trip! Hands-down, the highlight of our time in FL. Rob is an EXTREME professional: he knows his business, and has the rare combination of profound competence and genuine love for people....you can tell he loves what he does! Took us straight to spectacular fish and was very considerate of my landlubber legs and tummy. Great communicator. Five star service and we'll be repeat customers if at all possible!

Great Guide and Experience! - Captain Rob is an exceptional fishing guide and navigator on the water who made the trip so enjoyable, interesting, and refreshing. We caught lots of fish just after a short time in the bay that exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Captain Rob and L4K Charters because of his experience and patience for any skill level of fishing, and for just an overall fun and memorable time. Great family experience - We did a little sight seeing. Spotted some dolphins, and then were able to move around to a few spots to find the best fishing. Captain Rob was very knowledgeable and did a great job to provide a great experience

Best fishing experience I’ve ever had!!! - Captain Rob was amazing, and just an awesome guy to be with on the water! I took my two boys, ages 12 and 15, and we had such a great time! We had some weather that we needed to work around, and Capt Rob was very informative on the best day to go, and it worked out perfect! My kids enjoyed fishing with him, and he really is a great guide, and human being! He does so much for the community, kids, and veterans, and it shows! He truly loves what he does, and that’s what makes him so pleasant to be around! We did the 3 hour inshore trip, and caught several fish, and he even cleaned the ones we got to keep! I plan to always look him up when we are back in the area, and can’t wait to get out on the water again with Captain Rob!
