As a seasoned traveler, I’ve had my fair share of guided tours, but nothing quite prepared me for the unique experience of being part of “Moe’s Family” on the Niagara Falls Tour. From the moment Moe picked us up at our hotel, he exuded a warmth and friendliness that instantly put everyone at ease. It was like meeting an old friend who was eager to show you around his hometown.

Moe’s approach was refreshingly personal. He took the time to sit with us in the hotel lobby, making sure we had everything we needed, including our passports for the border crossing. Lunch at Maple Leaf Place was a delightful break. The timing was perfect, avoiding the crowds and allowing us to enjoy a leisurely meal. The variety of food and souvenirs added a touch of local flavor to the day, and it was a chance to chat with fellow travelers and share our experiences.

A View from the Top

The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the visit to the Skylon Tower. As someone who spends a lot of time analyzing wave conditions and seeking the best surf spots, I have a deep appreciation for panoramic views. The 360-degree vistas from the observation deck were nothing short of spectacular, offering a bird’s-eye view of the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls.

Moe’s patience and kindness shone through once again when our 8-year-old expressed fear about going up the tower. With a reassuring hand, Moe guided him to the elevator and kept him calm throughout the ascent. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about Moe’s character and his dedication to making the tour enjoyable for everyone.
