• Po Nagar Cham Towers - Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower established before 781, located in the historical principality of Kauthara, near present-day Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the land, who became associated with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and is known in Vietnamese as Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu. The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain and consists of three levels, with the highest featuring two rows of towers. The main tower stands approximately 25 meters tall. The temple’s central figure is a 1.2-meter tall stone statue of the goddess Yan Po Nagar, seated cross-legged, wearing only a skirt, with ten hands holding various symbolic items. According to Vietnamese scholar Ngô Vǎn Doanh, these attributes indicate that Yan Po Nagar was also identified with the Hindu goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga, the slayer of the buffalo-demon. Another sculpture of the goddess Mahishasuramardini is present.

The Oceanographic Institute Nha Trang was formerly the Indochina Department of Oceanographic Fishery, established by the decision of the Governor-General of French Indochina in 1922. From 1930 to 1952, it was known as the Indochina Oceanography Institute. • Long Son Pagoda - Holding several Guinness World Records and recognized as the largest pagoda in Nha Trang, Long Son Pagoda is a must-visit for anyone seeking to escape a hectic schedule, engage in self-reflection, or experience spiritual activities. Located in Khanh Hoa province, Long Son Pagoda (originally called Dang Long Tu) was founded in 1886 by the abbot Thich Ngo Chi at the top of Trai Thuy hill, where the current Buddha statue is now situated. After a devastating cyclone in 1900, it was relocated downhill. Following the wishes of the first abbot Thich Ngo Chi, the temple became the headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Studies Association in Khanh Hoa in 1936. It underwent renovations and restorations several times from 1940 to 1971, especially after the Vietnam War. Exploring the temple should begin from the downhill, ascending 193 steps to the top of the hill where the largest Buddha statue in Vietnam is located. There are four main impressive highlights.
