Gansett Cruises provides an enjoyable, informative, and relaxing sightseeing expedition of the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Our ship, Gansett, is a finely preserved and refurbished wooden lobster fishing boat from 1969. We are delighted to offer you free Mimosas in the early hours, as well as a variety of other refreshments available for purchase, including local favorites like Del’s frozen soft Lemonade and Yacht Club Soda. Simply unwind and enjoy as our Captain, Crew and Tour Guide lead you through Newport’s rich maritime history.

Guests will want to find parking and then walk to our red roofed ticket booth located at 2 Bowen's Landing in Newport. We are next to the Landing restaurant and directly in front of the round about on Market Square.

Recommended! - Great way to spend an hour. Tour guide was great and the mimosas were a great addition! Highly recommended for a sunny day

A view from the water! - We always like to get out on the water so this was a great way to do it. We saw mansions, lighthouses and our captain was very informative and was a great storyteller. We came after some of the boats weren’t operating so we were limited as to our options.

Patrick rocks!! - The views of the Narragansett were beautiful! The water was like glass and our tour guide, Patrick was very informative and hilarious - he engaged the boat riders along the way! I recommended the tour to a Couple we met at a local restaurant and they booked their own tour.

Great experience, fun and friendly staff, highly recommend - Highly recommend this tour. Great views, great guide who was hilarious, entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable, staff was all very friendly, easy check-in process. Highly recommend as someone who had never been to Newport before.

Hi neighbor, have a Gansett - A truly entertaining tour narrated by Patrick. He had a wealth of knowledge about mega yachts and the highlights of Newport harbor and surrounding Narragansett Bay. His stories captivated the passengers and he was quick to answer questions. Passengers had a good selection of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic and Patrick gave an explanation for why they didn’t serve Bloody Marys or red wine
