Passionate and professional tour guide - This was a Christmas gift from my sister and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of stories there were in this tour. I am a novocastrian and have always lived in Newy and didn’t know a single story. The tour guide Violet was very passionate and really knew her stuff. She was very professional and checked in with us during the tour guide. I really appreciated the content warnings when we got to a story that was about SA. I’d recommend this tour for visitors to Newy as well as fellow novocastrians

Places and stories I didn't know.. - I'm a huge true crime enthusiast and have lived in Newcastle for 40 years yet our wonderful tour guide Julia took me to some parts of the town I had never been and did not even know about! Although the stories of crime were not jaw dropping they were interesting and Julia told them very well.

Great for both tourist and locals - I've lived in the Newcastle area all my life and learnt so much tonight from our wonderful guide Nat. There were a few areas where I had never walked before either so I felt like a tourist in my own home town! It was approx a 2km walk which included hills, but with frequent stops, it didn't feel strenuous. Nat supplied insect repellent and a torch which was useful. I would highly recommend this tour to locals and tourist alike. Can't wait to do the Maitland tour as well.
