Discover New Zealand’s premier wine region on this half-day tour from Picton or Blenheim. Visit four different wineries in the Marlborough wine region, stroll through the vineyards, and sample wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. This small-group tour is limited to 11 people and includes hotel pickup and drop-off. With about 20 tasting rooms to visit on a daily basis there is plenty of choice. If you have somewhere you really want to go let us know at booking time so we can see if that will work on the day.
The tour has two pick up locations with a different price point.
Picton at 12.30pm
Blenheim 1pm
If your location and time slot is not available that means we are sold out.
NOTE: please do not book this tour if you are on a cruise ship which departs Picton at 6pm or earlier.
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- Small group tour with a maximum of 11 people
- If you are arriving on the Interislander ferry which arrives at 12.15 and have luggage is not suitable for you. If you are on the Bluebridge that arrives at 1145 you should be on time for the tour.
- Pick ups start up to 15 minutes prior to tour start time. Please check your messages for updated pick up time
- Choose 12.30 pm for the Picton Tour or 13.00 from the Blenheim tour

Marlborough Wine Tour from Picton - Small group and awesome tour guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, local and flexible. 1/2 day tour was enough with4 wineries we really saw a lot and did a lot of wine tasting. Special treat of a chocolate shop stop was inspired!

Wonderful Wineries Adventure - We had a very good time doing something a little unusual for us. Our guide Phil was very informative and fun. The wineries were all very different, and each was glad to have us visit. The timing for the wine and travel was well organized. And Phil helped get a non-alcoholic option for me. The weather was perfect and we had fun meeting new people. It was a great day.

If you like wine you'll love this tour! - A great wine tasting tour, we enjoyed some excellent wines at several cellar doors and finished our morning tour with a lovely meal washed down with more wine!

Excellent tour. - Excellent tour, with a very helpful guide/driver, Hamish, who went out of his way to make sure that all had a good time. Strongly recommend if you’re staying in Blenheim. Pick up bang on time and no pressure to drink up quickly. Visit to chocolate factory a welcome bonus.

Memorable Marlborough wine tour. - Thankyou Hamish for a wonderful afternoon. We had a fabulous time and all 8 participants bonded well and had such fun.
Wineries chosen were superb and gave us a good appreciation of Marlborough varieties.

Great Afternoon - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this wine tour. Our driver Gavin was exceptionally knowledgeable about wine and the Marlborough region. The vineyards we visited were unique and the wines we tasted were delightfully varied. The people presenting the wines at the wineries did a good job of explaining the wines and the way in which the vines were cultivated. Beware, the afternoon tour involves a lot of tasting. It is a good idea to order a bread board at the second or third stop.

Fabulous tour, would recommend to everyone - Fabulous way to spend a Sunday lunchtime.
Loved all four wineries and the lunch was outstanding and very welcomed after tasting 12 different wines.
Hamish our driver was great, very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries, made the tour even more enjoyable

Top Banana Half Day Marlborough Tour - Great half day light hearted tour taking in four vineyards courtesy of our guide the illustrious Sam277 who added some context to the region. Tasted some lovely Sauv B and some tasty Pinot Noir. Good tips on the workers co op for shipping options. Hit the jackpot for my wife with an unscheduled stop at the chocolate factory at the end.

Wonderful afternoon - Hamish was a wonderful tour leader. He saw to the needs of all participants and arranged for a lunch at one of the wineries.
Fromm winery was by far the best of the 4 we visited.

Beware of last minute charges from Picton - Wine tour was great The day before the tour however, the operator contacted us and said it would be an additional $40 because we were traveling from Picton. It is advertised from Picton and we paid for the tour 2 months ago. We have never had this happen with Viator before.
