Great guide - Our guide was great and the sights were well worth the tip. Wish we could have entered the pedistal but they were working on it. Worth the time and money.

Not detailed instructions on where meeting instructions are for meeting address - We showed up 20 min prior to the schedule tour at the meeting place given. We couldn’t find anyone giving a tour. We walked around the whole building. No one. Asked people inside the building, no one had heard of the tour meeting there. Stood around and texted the tour contact. Never received any messages back. Walked across the street after 9:40 and asked people over there if they knew of anything. Showed contact info to people and no one knew what I was talking about. Missed the tour completely. I dont know what else I could have done.

€107.34 for nothing. AVOID! - We didn't get what we paid for. The guide asked us about where we were from before boarding the ferry. The guide didn't stay with us on the ferry, we saw another tour whose guide was with them and giving them history about the statue and the island on the way over. We got a 10 minute mini chat when we got off the boat and then were left again to wander around the statue. Then we got the ferry to Ellis Island and again the guide didn't tell us anything or stay with us. When we got to the island we were given a brief introduction and then told that Guides are not allowed inside. We paid for a 4 hour in depth tour with a guide and we didn't get it. I would avoid booking this and would use the Get Your Guide tours instead as those customers deemed to be getting what they paid for. I tried to contact TripAdvisor as I booked through them but can't find any way to do that on their site. The tour was so expensive €107.34
