A MUST do in NYC for any photo enthusiast - Fantastic experience! Bruce K. is an expert arquitecture photographer and his advice was priceless, it turned out to be just my husband and I on the tour, so it was amazing to receive advice from such a talented photographer one on one. His work has been featured in many magazines and he was super generous sharing his knowledge with us. We well be doing more of this tours in the future when we return to NYC. This was one of the most enjoyable activities of our trip.

What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! - Instructor Zim had great tips for using my camera and creating outstanding photos. In addition to learning the secret to capturing NYC skyscraper icons, we learned to photo subway activity and neon signs. Now I have to return to my fave sites to apply my new skills! Thank you Zim!

Rediscovering the city with NYC photo safari. - What a cool way to learn about photography and see NYC from a different view! My wife and I really enjoyed our day out with Zim. We have always been interested in learning the basics of using a DSLR camera and we definitely got a lot of practice. Zim was a great guide who is not only an expert at what she does but has a warm and friendly personality. She took her time to explain concepts in detail and was super patient as we navigated the city and practiced taking shots. We were looking at things with new eyes by the end of the tour and discovered what may be a new hobby. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to New Yorkers; it's a great way to reconnect with the city with a new pair of eyes.

A great experince to learn more about photography and see more of New York - I had already booked tours with this company and was highly satsified of the workshops. The guides are experienced professional photographers but they are able to transfer knowledge and experience without pulling rank. Although I have my camera (DSLR) for many years, embarassingly I learned options about the camera I wasn't aware. That was no different this time, I met Zim for a one-on-one session. This was excellent, a good mix of art (composition) and technology (handling the camera). I highly recommend to book a tour

On Safari on the Streets of the City. - The cap for participants is 8 so imagine my surprise when I arrived to find only myself with Zim, my safari guide for the morning. I know that I was lucky to get one-on-one, but it is also clear that Zim is quite capable of sharing her guidance and expertise across a full group. You will learn and grow regardless of how full your group. Zim took time initially to get to know me, my style, any special topics I shoot and - in particular - what do I hope to learn. And off we went. We walked the streets and rode the subway, as she led me to spots of photo opportunity, first leaving me to figure my best shot, then guiding me to expand my vison and incorporate other visual elements, angles nd lighting. Then off to the next location. You will come away with a nice collection of images that offer a look at NYC that you'll be proud to share. My Nikon is a relatively new purchase and Zim was super knowledgeable about helping me with settings and features (even though I'm pretty certain she's NOT a Nikon user herself). She has a wonderful balance of professionalism, sauciness and humor that make the 3 hours quickly and enjoyably flow. And you'll expanded your abilities. Don't hesitate - book your own safari with Zim!

NYC photo safari is perfect! - This tour was more than expected! Not only did I see some incredible spots, but I also learned more about how to best use my camera to get the perfect shot! I highly recommend booking this tour.

Perfect Photo safari experience - This was more than I expected. I did the Iconic 2 tour in midtown and my guide was Fiona. Even though I only had an iPhone and just tagging along with a friend, Fiona showed me how to take great photos. The tour included stops at Grand Central and Bryant park and other other iconic locations too. The tour finished in Times Square which was perfect as it was close to our hotel. I would definitely do this again the next time I'm in NYC.
