Explore the mysterious past of Greenwich Village through a communal ghost tour that’s set to alter your impression of New York City. This 60-minute ambulatory tour of phantasmal sites, guides you to the eeriest locales in town. The tour schedules start at 8 pm from April to October, and at 7 pm from November to March. The journey initiates and concludes at the Arch in Washington Square Park. You’ll traverse 8 notable sites over a 1-mile stretch across Greenwich Village, visiting eerie stops like the House of Death associated with Mark Twain, The Emma Lazarus House, The Hangman’s Elm among others. The size of the group usually doesn’t cross the 20-person limit.

Tours begin in Washington Square Park, under the Washington Square Park Arch, at Washington Square North, New York, NY 10012. Look for your tour guide, who will be holding a lantern. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour’s departure time.

A wonderful night on the streets of Greenwich Village! - We had a blast on our ghost tour of Greenwich Village. Trevor, our guide, was most remarkable! He was a wealth of knowledge! Thank you Trevor. Would most definitely recommend this tour for history buffs.

Scarily informative and enjoyable - Marcus was very informative, friendly and made everything interesting.
Even though it was just the two of us on the tour he still gave 100%, and made it fun and enjoyable.

NYC Ghost tour - Absolutely amazing!!! Trevor was very knowledgeable and was very enthusiastic of the tour content!! It was a perfect night downtown. Learned a lot and got to hear a lot of really neat stories!

Great fun and very informative. - We arrived a few minuets early and John our guide was already waiting for us, carrying an old lamp he was very easy to spot.
The tour was really fun, John was great. He had great knowledge or NYCs dark and supernatural past, always happy to chat and take questions as we went along.
We did the extended tour, which I’d recommend for the end point alone. Those that didn’t do the extended tour John made sure to get everyone back to a subway station or to where they needed to go to.
We had a really fun night and are very glad we did it.

Review - It was more of a historical tour than a ghost tour. But Trevor was incredibly nice. Was a bit hard to hear at times. But I loved the small group size!
