Wonderful Day touring the Village - We had an absolute blast on the Greenwich Village tour, thanks in part to the awesome food stops (Pizza at Bleecker St Pizza and ravioli at Rafetto's were amazing!) but mostly due to our tour guide Brian, who was fantastic. In addition to his wealth of knowledge of both the restaurants and the overarching history of the area itself, he was just an absolute pleasure to spend the morning with - friendly, kind and courteous with an incredibly upbeat positive attitude. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the tour, and his love for the city and its food offerings shone through. By the end, he had us already wanting to come back to many of the stops, and we headed home with a goodie bag of chocolate covered espresso beans from Porto Rico importing Co (delish!) and a newfound love for a part of NYC we were not all that familiar with. We will definitely be back for another Devour tour soon!

pleasantly full - the food was really good and a lot of the places had smaller servings so that you didn’t get too full before the end of the tour! my favorite was the cannoli we had and we also got some history behind each of the places that we ate at. the last two stops were very filling, pizza and grilled cheese, so i couldn’t eat all of those but they were still good!

Greatest Tour Guide! - Sara was the BEST tour guide. We had her all to ourselves and she took us to so many of the best food spots in the Village, plus provided us with a ton of history and information about the whole area. Major kudos to her for being the greatest guide and for the dinner recommendation for Paesano’s, which was excellent!

Great Way to See Greenwich Village - Eating on Tour with Devour Tours - My wife and I went on previous devour food tours in Europe and this time we went with great friends to the food tour in NYC… we are locals and wanted to do a food tour in NYC to do touristy things and this was ale thing out of the ordinary for living in NY. The food tour exceeded our expectations as we went to places that we never even thought of before. Brian was our tour guide and he had such a cool / nice vibe about him and knew a lot about the city and his love of food showed, making him the ideal tour guide. The pace of the tour was great and each stop was enjoyable. Of course the 1st stop for the breakfast sandwich set the tone for what was going to be amazing food stops with delicious foods. Brian kept things moving at a steady pace and made sure everybody in the group enjoyed the offerings. I would highly recommend this food tour. Since we went on previous Devour tours(Spain-Seville and Madrid, Lisbon Portugal) we expected a great tour and this tour lived up to the expectations. We also felt the price was well worth it. Although be prepared to not need to eat dinner until when the local New Yorkers do -10:00pm or so - as we didn’t need to eat after this tour for maybe the rest of the day.. however full disclosure I was like the human garbage can as whenever there was food leftover and nobody wanted more I gladly took the challenge and accepted the remaining food…:-) This tour had a great itinerary and we really saw awesome places in Greenwich Village. I would highly recommend this tour. They also have a lower east side food tour which we already talked about doing since we were vey impressed with Devour Tours.

Great !!! - We had a blast with Craig, and we learned a lot about Greenwich village and all the hidden food gems of the area. Brazilian truffles, Lebanese sandwiches, olive oil donuts, and the best slice of pizza in NYC… Be aware what you wish for though, once you've finished with the tour, you won't be able to eat until the next day!
