Our journey through the East Village commences at a time-honored New York donut establishment, Donut Pub. With over five decades of experience, Donut Pub offers some of the finest donuts in NYC. We’ll allow you to taste an array of their renowned flavors. After that, we’ll stroll through the charming neighborhoods, towering apartment buildings, beautiful parks, and notable landmarks that make East Village an iconic neighborhood.
Next, we’ll indulge in some traditional Italian Bomboloni that taste as if they were transported straight from Italy. If you’ve never savored bomboloni before, you’re in for a delight! We’ll then draw attention to the musical history and icons in the nearby area, which includes CBGB and Bowery Electric. This will lead us to our third destination.
Here, we’ll showcase their popular cardamom buns, which recently gained fame through TikTok. To conclude our excursion, we’ll savor some extraordinary, handcrafted donuts, the selection of which changes with the seasons.

Good guide and plenty of food - My family and I had a very nice tour with Rob. We had plenty of food which is not always the cases in tours. He was very knowledgeable with interesting facts and engaging.

History and donuts - Rob was a great guide!! We had a lot of fun and learned so many interesting facts about the East Village. We also got a ton of food- four donuts each, coffee, hot chocolate. Would recommend for anyone who likes history and donuts!

Fun walking tour of the East Village with great donuts. - Rob was great! We had a wonderful time enjoying donuts as he led a walking tour of the East Village. It was so much fun learning about many interesting details of the city. I recommend this for all. It was an easy walk with wonderful donuts and more. Rob is a great tour guide with many fascinating tidbits
about the history of the area.

Loved it! - I thoroughly enjoyed this food tour! Heather was amazing with her knowledge of NYC and very responsive before we met up. I am a native NYer and it was great learning about my city and its history. I am 31 weeks pregnant and worried about the walk and bathroom breaks, but the walk was totally fine and she was sensitive to my needs for restroom breaks. The 15 year old I went with also enjoyed herself and she wants to go again! Highly recommend!

Delectable delights filled with history! - I went on this tour with my nieces, mostly because they were visiting NYC and they really wanted to go...it exceeded all expectations! Ari our guide was super knowledgeable on Lower East Side history from Basquiat's original studio to historic Jewish theatre district to a mosaic artist and the original Second Avenue Deli location- so much interesting history that this 15 year NYC resident had never known. The donuts were also incredible- a wonderful variety from traditional to exquisite.
I highly recommend this tour for the learnings, the delectable delights, walking in an historic NYC neighborhood with so much to discover and experience and for the knowledgeable and friendly tour guide- top notch- book it now!

Great tour would highly recommend! - Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area and history! The tour has 4 bakeries that all sell great treats and the tour includes several interesting stops along that way as well. Very educational!

Gabba Hey! - Super fun! Tons of info on the East Village and the people who called it home--from Astor to Basquiat. And the donuts! The cardamom bun is fantastic. Great tour for tourists and New Yorkers alike.

The East Village is still the place to be! - I have now taken ALL of the NYC donut tours and this one did not disappoint! We loved all the history and characters the East Village has to offer and the DONUTS!!!!! Wow! I never eat all my food and I polish off each donut with plenty of room for the next one from the walk in between stops!
