Learn about traditional Jewish food and enjoy a total of seven tastings from Zabar’s, the Kosher Marketplace and Murray’s Sturgeon Shop. Visit the only remaining store selling Judaica items and their significance in religious practices.
There will be time to make purchases of food and other items at each of the stores.
Tour ends at about 2:30pm at West 92nd Street and Broadway, close to the 96th Street #1, #2 and #3 subway lines.

We commence our tour at Zabar’s, a well-loved NYC store known for its incredible array of delectable ready-to-eat foods. Hereafter, we pay a visit to the Zabar’s Café for a duo of tastings. Following this, we move to the West Side Judaica & Bookstore, where you’ll discover the significance of some showcased items in the practice of Judaism. Our trip also includes visits to Murray’s Sturgeon Shop, a humble establishment renowned for its delightful appetizers. There, you can relish the taste of vegetarian chopped liver and chopped herring. Lastly, we visit the Jewish Marketplace, where you’ll find everything kosher and get to sample two popular side dishes.
