The Statute of Liberty at night is specular - We have had some beautiful trips out of some very special ports (think of Venice, Stockholm, Lisbon, "Tokyo," Panama Canal, ...) but the nighttime departure from Pier 88 in NYC is at the top of the list for us. The city is absolutely beautiful--all lit up and sculptural. It looks as if an artist has designed it, as opposed to the reality that it was all by chance. When you get close to the statue, it makes everyone on the deck excited--so much so that it brought tears to the eyes of more than a few guests. She looked beautiful!
It was a very bitter cold night, but we all stood out on the deck to take in all the sights and enjoy a very special experience. Do not miss it !

Decent commentary, not enough seats - A lot of diesel fumes, not enough seats. Decent commentary made it some what more interesting however I wouldn't recommend it on balance.

Christmas Fun - Quick trip! The boat was very crowded! No room to move or take pictures. Limited seats on the inside. Made the best of it.

Great experience - Statue of Liberty and freedom tower I would recommend a friend next time. It would help to be on time and also have a place warm for people while waiting to dock

Worth the money we paid - The dock was not labeled to where we could locate the boat. The staff was on the phone rather than assisting tourist. The boat needs some tender love and care. Any other color but black.

Avoid! Don't do it. - Don't go on this cruise. Old run down, filthy and disgusting party boat from the 80s, with tinted windows and a filthy bathroom. Like taking a cruise while sitting in a retirement party in a run down bus station There must be other options.

To flee to death - I want to surprise my partner sister for the New Year, surprise, spoiled, know that they called me at the beginning of December for the $91 PART to tell me that I will be in VIP but it doesn't include anything, the music is loud annoys us people are sitting on the ground no standing just your money is theft. Indochon assures!!! absolutely avoid.

Very disappointing - We got off the boat. it was old and there wasn’t outdoor seating. Very disappointing! You should tell ppl that the boat is grungy and that there’s no outdoor seating.
