Awesome family fun! Active and requires thinking!! - Family of two parents, and 11 and 16 year old girls. We did Spygames and it was so much fun! It was in beta testing so no pics. There were ten zones - each one was its own room. You scan a bracelet and go into the room as a family and complete the activity. They were physical and you had to think for some of them. So active and fun! My husband even was sweating! I was not. lol. The rooms had throwing balls at a target, jumping on a target, stepping on moving targets, ledge/rockwall, memory of order of colors, and fast hitting of buttons to name a few. We loved the laser room too- having to hit buttons on the walls while avoiding lasers. We had 50 minutes to accumulate points from each room. You could do rooms again but it won’t contribute to you points. They have leaderboards too. So much fun!!!!!!!!!

Spy attributes unveiled - Wow, this was super fun. First we did the interactive game rooms where we definitely finished sweaty. That took about an hour after which we left for dinner before deciding on the museum experience. This was equally great but different in that it was extremely informative regarding events and facts from WW1 to present day. There was 1 very interactive laser evading that was really cool too. I highly recommend this experience.

Excellent - I did not know what to expect and was really surprised at how good a time I had. Was really interactive and interesting. The books they had for sale were also great - a huge selection

Operations officer - This was definitely a vibe and one of the cutest date nights. From being physically to having to do math questions I definitely felt like I was training for an academy

Perfect date night experience to battle jetlag - We went here the day we landed in NYC, and did the date experience. Plan was something to amuse us and keep us awake until a reasonable hour. It was honestly so much fun, I'd agree don't do the questions beforehand, but the games were fun and immersive, the staff helpful and all the information was interesting, especially if you have an interest in history. They say the date night experience is 1-2 hours, for us it was just over an hour, but we probably could have stayed longer Staff really helpful and the experience was fun enough that I'd forgotten we had been up for 20hrs at that point!

Could be so much better - Everything was beautifully done but the whole experience was spoilt by a lack of clear instructions. I know that the idea is to try and assess you for espionage suitability but a simple instruction like “Enjoy the exhibits and complete a test at the end of each section” would not have given the game away but would have improved the experience tenfold. I hope some reads this and takes note.

Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience at SPYSCAPE Museum - As an educator accompanying a group of bright, enthusiastic students from Mexico on an educational trip to New York City, our anticipation for the SPYSCAPE Museum was met with an experience that was both disheartening and unacceptable. Our group looked forward to an engaging day learning about espionage, history, and the art of intelligence. Unfortunately, what we encountered was far from educational or welcoming. Upon arrival, our students, eager to dive into the exhibits, were subjected to differential treatment that was both overt and unnecessary. Staff members counted our students several times and were told they had taken two missing entry bracelets. This initial interaction set a tone of discomfort and unwelcome that permeated our entire visit. The most disheartening aspect of this experience was the impact it had on our students. What should have been an exciting educational opportunity was marred by the realization that they were being judged not on their behavior or enthusiasm for learning but on their nationality. Staff members made comments about the chaperones and students, assuming we could not understand them. This assumption and the choice to voice such comments openly were not only disrespectful but also indicative of a deeper issue of prejudice within the staff's conduct. The situation deteriorated when we attempted to address this unacceptable behavior. Instead of receiving an apology or even a constructive response, we were met with further discrimination and aggressive behavior. The staff's unwillingness to engage in a respectful dialogue or to acknowledge their inappropriate actions was both shocking and disheartening. In closing, our experience at SPYSCAPE was a stark reminder that there is much work to be done in the fight against discrimination. It is our hope that by sharing our story, SPYSCAPE will implement training and policies that ensure all visitors are welcomed equally and judged only by their curiosity and eagerness to learn.
