Great experience - We had a great afternoon with Bruce in spite of the rain . We had never been to Brooklyn and knew very little about the area . Bruce was an exceptional guide - really knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot about the history and construction of the bridge and Brooklyns history - war of independence, alumni , and lots of popular culture info . It was a very friendly and relaxed experience . On our next visit we would definitely take another of Bruce's tours . Highly recommended

I learned a lot from our knowledgeable and passionate guide. - I took the tour with some visiting family members. While I have lived in Brooklyn for more than 40 years and fashion myself something of a student of Brooklyn history, I learned a lot of interesting things from Bruce. Fascinating details about the Brooklyn Bridge as we walked the span, a view into Brooklyn’s industrial past reclaimed as a modern high-end neighborhood, Henry Ward Beecher’s and Plymouth Church’s roles in the Abolitionist cause, all tied together to show Brooklyn at the forefront of many major societal changes. From being the site of the first battle of the Revolutionary War, to hosting marvels of innovation in engineering, commerce and industry, to its role in fighting against slavery, to the modern landmark preservation movement. I highly recommend the tour.

Brooklyn Bridge Tour - This was a fantastic tour for someone interested in the history of the Brooklyn Bridge and its surrounding neighborhood. Bruce is an excellent tour guide and he dropped in little tidbits that another guide might skip (or not know). There was a lot of walking, but it was paced well and we stopped frequently to rest. Highly recommend.

Loved it! - Loved this walking tour of the Brooklyn Bridge and parts of Brooklyn. Bruce was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable tour guide with engaging stories and made the history come alive. We enjoyed it so much we signed up for the Washington and Hamilton tour the next day and would have booked the Central Park one as well, but we were headed home. Book this tour immediately. You won't regret it!
