Kevin is the best!!! - Kevin was amazing! I had my kids with me (8, 12, 20). It was windy and cold and he would accommodate my littlest when she would just say “i’m cold” we would do lot of the talking and story telling indoors and went outside to show us the what he was talking about. He helped take family pictures. Had a lot of good historical tidbits that even peeked the interest of my little ones. Super friendly! Will definitely recommend Kevin to everyone!!!

Go to the room where it happened - What else can I say? Kevin is the best at what he does. His love of the city was evident as he walked us around lower Manhattan. I really believe Kevin had to hold back because the tour was only two hours and there was not enough time to share all of his knowledge. For our tour, Kevin adjusted the time and start point to accommodate our schedule. Kevin provided stories and history and kept us captivated for 120 minutes. It was really too short of a time as it flew bye. I am already planning my next trip to NYC and will be sure to use Kevin again. `

An incredible tour, even for locals! - I booked this private tour for my boyfriend's birthday, as he's a major U.S. and NYC history buff, and it was the perfect choice. As an introvert, I was concerned I would find the private tour slightly awkward, but my concerns were entirely unnecessary. Kevin is an incredible guide who puts you immediately at ease, providing not just a wealth of knowledge, but also a fantastic tour experience. He knows the perfect place to take a photo, or step inside to get warm or for a bathroom break, and points out all the little things along the way that we would have missed even as locals. I lost count of how many times I said "wow" during the tour -- it's one thing to read about history, but it's quite another to stand on the spot where said history actually happened. I would highly recommend this tour to Hamilton fans, or anyone who loves Revolution-era history. (Pro tip - the start of the tour is right out front of the main entrance of the Museum of the American Indian). I would absolutely book more tours with Kevin in the future!

Do this before you see the play! - Kevin was our very knowledgeable tour guide and he did not leave any details out about the steps of Alexander Hamilton! We learned about the humble beginnings of New York City and the impact the Dutch had on the founding of this city. We were walked through the Revolutionary War and introduced to General George Washington and his relationship with Alexander Hamilton. Please note that Kevin, our tour guide, made history come to life with his stories and walking us in the steps of some of most well known patriots. We learned so much about Hamilton and Kevin pointed out the events and words we needed to watch for in the play. We will book future NYC tours with this tour group! Prompt, thorough, and spends every moment taking you back in time!

You're guaranteed to enjoy this history lesson! - Kevin Draper led our group in a 2 hour private walking tour; "Hamilton and the Founding Fathers. Kevin was an expert on the subject and knowledgably engaging in his storytelling. In fact, we could have spent all day with him and felt like we had completed a college course on this important time in our history. I've recommended him to everyone I know. We'll be back for more, the next time we travel to NYC. Debra Main, Gainesville FL

Gilded age and American history tour - I took 2 private tours - one with Dan another with Kevin. Both were amazing. If you want more than a superficial narrative then these tours are the way to go. For sure if I come back to NY, Kevin would the first one for me to call. Contrary public bashing of NY, NY is a wonderful city.
