Additional Information

Let me start by stating that the majority of Gangster Tours in New York City are pure nonsense. Our experience comes straight from the source, no tour guide, no embellishments. Hear the true tales while we guide you through infamous crime locations between the East Village to Little Italy, assimilating what it was like to be part of New York’s renowned families. Immerse yourself in firsthand narratives of the New York Mafia and criminal activities in NYC, plus savor the local dishes. We have on our itinerary, the spots where Crime Family members socialized, celebrated and managed their secretive ‘family ventures’. Discover the places other tour companies are oblivious to. Witness the ‘Ravenite Social Club’ and more. Our meeting spot is a well-known mafia “red sauce joint” originating from 1908, with ample food arranged. We conclude the experience with a full-sized cannoli from a signature pastry shop in Little Italy. Until now, I have catered to over 10,000 guests and boast of more than 2,000 five-star reviews on Airbnb. This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill Mafia tour in New York.

Great stories, great food, great experience - From the walking into John's on 12th where we enjoyed spaghetti with the best meatball, learned some interesting history and stories of the restaurant, had some laughs, then we moved on to Russo's, 1st time I'd ever had homemade mozzarella! Excellent! We then walked a long while but the tour was fillrd with wonderful architecture of NY. Dan told some amazing stories about the Italian mob and took us to the sites where historical mob activities occurred. I enjoyed it all. The next stop, The Original Benito One; words cannot explain how delicious the Eggplant Parmigiana was outstanding , the sauce, the sauce, the sauce was everything. Little Italy was a great experience. Very eye catching and a must see. Finally we ended our tour at LaBella Ferrara, the ladies were so welcoming and literally served our group after their shop had already closed. Talk about special treatment. The peanut butter canolli was so good and the lobster tail pastry was to die for. This tour was a long walk, be prepared, wear your best walking shoes and bring your appetite. Thank you Dan for a wonderful experience

Amazing first-person personal stories from a real NYDP told with true magic. And authentic Italian food on the way. - Amazing mix of stories combining crime stories from Little Italy across the years and real life stories from someone who has seen the other side in person at NYPD. Dennis tells his memories with that shine in his eyes that show the true emotions of some exciting and adrenaline loaded adventures. Make sure you ask him for more! The restaurants visited on the way offer authentic Italian food, where tomato sauce actually tastes like tomatos.

A little disjointed, but still great - I think our guide, Bill, was a sub, but was still very knowledgeable about the city and the subjects. The tour is a combination of food and the mob. A natural pairing of course, but Bill did have a challenge to stay on topic with so much history to cover. I'll leave the mobsters for you to experience, but let me tell you that on this tour I ate the most amazing eggplant parmigiana on the planet! Now, that's not to slight the cannoli, fresh mozzarella or the meatballs, but that eggplant was off the chain! It alone was worth the price.

Incredible tour guide - The tour guide was incredible! He was so through and detailed about the crime history in Little Italy! The best part was that he was from the area and had an intimate knowledge about the events and people that could only be known through living through it! Honestly, this was one of the best tours that we went on and the food was just perfect! If you love crime history great food, and immersion, this is the tour for you!

No show - The guy didn’t show up. Didn’t call, text or email. Cost me two hours getting there waiting around. No one knew what was going on. Not very nice.
