A great experience! - Booked this tour as hubby loves cars especially the old ones. Found the company online using a google search and contacted them. We booked a 2 hour midtown/downtown tour in the 1920's prohibition car. The day before we booked the tour, our flight was diverted to Boston due to thunderstorms. Contacted the company as I didnt know when we would be in NYC. Turns out we arrived at JFK at 6:20am after British Airways put on a bus for us .... we couldnt sleep when we arrived at the hotel so we went ahead with the tour. Turned up and was advised it had been cancelled - I never asked for it to be cancelled. I asked if the tour could be moved to another day. After some conversation, the tour was back on. Thankfully as its a lot of money to lose through no fault of our own. The guide was great with a lot of knowledge of NYC and its history. Car got lots of looks and saw folk taking a lot of photos. Due to traffic I guess, we never stopped for any photoes. Recommended.

RED! RED! RED! - Pierce was the MAN! The RED was a classic 1934 Chevy coupe. The 3 hour tour was the best event in all our 6 previous trips to NYC. Pierce’s entertaining & educational efforts made the RED Chevy ride exceptional. Make a note to ask for Pierce because he has his first written & directed play opening in NYC mid-March 2020. He will be famous one day: get to know him now.

Best tour of NYC! - This is one of the best hidden secrets of NYC. Perfect for visitors or locals looking to do something fun for a special occasion. Omar was our driver/guide and we had the best time! He was so engaging, knowledgable and friendly; made our night! A must do!

Helen J - We had a brilliant ride with Jesse in his 1920’s classic car. Jesse was very knowledgable about the surrounding area and made the drive fun. The car was clean and comfortable and we got lots of second glances during our drive. Would thoroughly recommend this as an alternative and fun way to see New York.

Fantastic tour that we thoroughly enjoyed! - Today we took the private classic car experience tour! Our tour guide was Tim who was driving a beautifully restored Buick from the early30's. The car was immaculate and very comfortable, and everywhere we went people smiled and waved at us, it was such good fun!! Our guide Tim was wonderful, funny and very knowledgeable about the parts of Manhattan we wanted to see! I would do another tour with Tim any time, and in fact we recommended both the tour and Tim to folks at our hotel! Thank you for a wonderful New York experience, this tour really made our trip special!!

A Truly Unique Experienc - Our tour guide Omar gave us a wonderfully enjoyable and informative tour in the classic 1933 Buick. He was waiting at the designated time and location and off we went. Having been to NYC many times over the past 30+ years we were familiar with the sites along the tour route but Omar had lots of fun facts and trivia we were not aware of. He stopped along the way for some photo ops and made us all feel like celebrities. The only 'negative' about the tour was it ended too soon. Another hour or more would have been even better. No matter how many times you have been to NYC or even if you are a native we would highly recommend this fun filled adventure. Hopefully you will have Omar as you tour guide but based on other reviews we have read it sounds like all the guides are great.

Not our jam - Let me preface the review with this, if you are on a girls trip this is probably not the tour for you. If you like old cars (it was a cool car to be fair), breathing in gas fumes, 1920s history and wind blown hair then this is the tour for you. This is an old car, so there is no air-conditioning so keep the time of year in mind. Windows down for airflow equals breathing in really strong gas fumes and wind blown hair. The car is low and the metal railing around the sunroof makes it hard to see much of the tall buildings. While I get the thought of the 1920s music it was way too loud and hard to hear. There are no shock absorbers in this car so every bump we hit was felt and chiropractors were visited when we returned home. On top of that, the company was 30 minutes late picking us up without any phone call or heads up, which rushed the rest of the day’s activities for us. This is just a personal preference of not wanting to hold my nose for 2 hours, but our drivers breath was so bad I could smell it from the backseat + stinky cologne is a bad combo. These are not things that I saw on any reviews when we booked this tour so I guess if I missed it shame on me. Doing you the favor of giving you the cons so you can make your own decision. Had I read this I definitely would not have picked this tour. Aside from not having the courtesy of calling when they weren’t going to show up on time, the company delivered what they advertised. So, most of the cons for us is not really a knock on them. Just not the tour for us.
