Highlights
  • Katz’s Delicatessen - What is there to say about this spot which When Harry Met Sally… made even more famous.

  • Lower East Side - Stroll. Learn. Nosh. Now you can explore an up-and-coming hip neighborhood that’s rich in history and stacked with infamously famous eats.

  • Vanessa’s Dumpling House - Vanessa’s Dumpling House has the most delicious pork dumplings. Happy to substitute to veggie for those who don’t eat pork. You won’t believe how good these are.

  • Essex Street Market - Stop and shop (if you wish) at Essex Street market but before you do we visit my friend Saad who gives us a tasting of Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oils at his Essex Olive & Spice shop.

  • The Pickle Guys - The Pickle Guys pickles almost everything. We try three of their top sellers. They’re sweet. They’re sour. They’re awesome.

  • Economy Candy - Economy Candy has been around since 1937, dishing out chocolates, nuts, gummies and the candy so many generations have grown up on.

  • Kossar’s Bagels & Bialys (LES) - Kossar’s Bagels - you bet your babka you’ve never tasted bagels or bialys like this before. And the cream cheese? It’s the best I’ve ever had. Ever.

Great tour & great food! - It was an awesome tour! Emmeline was really knowledgable about both NY and the stops/food we had. There is a lot of food, thankfully we skipped breakfast! Would highly recommend this tour!

Great morning on the Lower East Side - This tour was fantastic! Adam went above and beyond to make this a great experience. He gave us great background about each stop and the neighborhood. He also personalized the tour for us, even arranging for us to meet the owner at two of our stops. The food was amazing. My college-aged daughter and I, experienced visitors to New York, both agreed this was one of the best visitor experiences we’ve ever had. Please, please go if you can!

Adam and his guest, Russ, were excellent hosts! Just three of us had a great personalized tour, with great food and conversation. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! - When my friends and I signed up for this, I really didn’t know what to expect but wow was I blown away. Our tour guide, Emmeline, was absolutely fantastic! Not only was she super personable, friendly and fun, she was also very educated in the history of the neighborhood, restaurants and food of the area. I highly recommend this tour and Emmeline. I feel like we made a new friend and I hope we can go back and do it again. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Must do in NYC - This food tour was the best part of our NYC girls trip! The food stops were incredibly delicious and there was so much fascinating history shared. Emmeline was our tour guide and I can't rave enough about her. Very personable and a pleasure to spend 3 hours with. I've been on other foods tours before and this was by far my favorite.
