Altered 2hr NYC Cocktail Making Class on a Yacht plus vintage car tour - We initially booked this tour, but were contacted quickly and told that the yacht portion of this was not available due to problems with the boat being ready. I was informed that instead of the yacht we would have a wine tasting at a restaurant and then take the Vintage car tour. We agreed to the change and were pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Our tasting advisor/driver Aaron (hopefully correct spelling) was a wealth of knowledge and took good care of us. Our whole experience was great and the communication was outstanding.

Incredible New York Night! - Two mother/daughter couples decide to spend a week in NYC, but no one will commit to specific plans. That doesn’t work well for me, so when Nowaday popped up on my feeds, I did my research add booked the vintage midtown tour as a surprise. After finding the speakeasy part, I reached out to add it last minute-so glad I did? Emily was amazing with her communications and working out the last minute change with our schedule. Moms had Pierce in classic black, and daughters had Omar in vintage red cars. The drivers were engaging, informative, personable, and fun! After our hour, we were dropped at Macao for our Speakeasy class, where Damiano treated us to a master class of Prohibition cocktails. All gave us tips for the rest of our week, and we changed much of our sketchy itinerary because of the awesome suggestions! We’ve already said we will do this again on our next trip to see more of the city.

Amazing Night Out In NYC! - We hired Nowaday for a small corporate outing and booked both the car tour as well as the Speak Easy Cocktail Making Class. We had three cars show up outside our office which attracted quite a crowd. We felt like celebrities! The cars were beautiful inside and out. Nowaday really maintains them well. The ride was so much fun and we learned more about NYC's rich history as we passed by different landmarks. Our driver was knowledgeable and very friendly. Music from the 20's played and we really felt transported back in time. After the tour which lasted an hour, we went to the Speak Easy class at Macao Trading Co. We learned a little bit about the prohibition era and were taught how to make four great cocktails. It was definitely a blast. Food was extra but the dumplings at Macao were worth the money! My team and I really enjoyed the evening. It was such a unique and wonderful time. The staff at Nowaday are so friendly and were able to accommodate all our requests. If you are visiting NY or looking for a fun way to spend an evening with friends I highly recommend booking!

Amazing Cocktail Making Experience - We worked with Nowaday to organize a group cocktail making class and working with the team and venue was great. We were picked up classic cars which were a huge hit and the bar where we had the course was amazing and very accommodating as well. Working with the Nowaday team through out was very seamless and I'd highly recommend trying out this experience!

Cocktail mastery - Didn’t really know what to expect. I’ve never been a bartender. I’ve only made a few drinks at my house. The mixologist was incredible. He had been in the industry for many years and could answer every question anyone threw at him. We made 5 cocktails that were all themed to the 1920s time period. The speakeasy was actually next to a burlesque show so after we had a bunch of delicious cocktails in us we finished with quite the show. I went with some close friends but the couples there looked to be having a blast.

Coolest experience ever. - I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but Nowaday deserves a round of applause for this amazing experience. The cocktails alone make this a must-go, pair it with a hidden 1920’s speakeasy venue & our bartender Brendan (the man) and I will 100% be back again. Seriously, look at that espresso martini. That is a work of ART. Taken with an iPhone and no filters, I’m gunna hang that in my apartment. Well done, Nowaday! 👏👏

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! - I went to this class with some friends and it was an absolute blast. Not only did I get to learn more about different types of cocktails, but I got to make my two favorites :) I will definitely be going back! It’s a great place to go for any occasion. Awesome activity! - I live in New York and was super happy to hear about a fun and interesting way to explore my neighborhood and learn about the history of NYC. The experience was awesome, and I loved the cocktail making class - definitely going to go back with a group of friends when they're in town!!

Amazing experience!!! - Had the best time at this class. The experience from start to finish was phenomenal! Everyone was super friendly and professional - most importantly, everyone stayed in character (which was great). The cocktails were great as well - we each got 5 drinks (and 5 of us got to go up and make one drink each with the bartender). The bartender was super nice and explained how to make the drinks in detail (super helpful - going to try it out at home). Overall great experience and recommending to all of my friends and family!!!

Transported back to the Prohibition Era! - Nowaday provides a fantastic experience, bringing you to one of the few standout, prohibition style speakeasys in NYC. The experience and staff are fabulous (walk in and sip on a wonderful welcome cocktail served in beautiful teacups), creating an immersive and educational evening with the opportunity to both create and drink your very own craft style cocktails. Following the session, enjoy a live jazz performance that adds yet another shining light to an already exceptional event. Highly recommend.
