Take a peek at legendary superhero film locations, discover the origins of where your beloved characters were designed by their writers and artists, traipse along the avenue of comic publishers and see some of the most famous landmarks in New York City. - Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour’s designated start time. The tour departs promptly and no refunds will be given for guests who miss the tour due to being late
- A moderate amount of walking is involved, please wear appropriate footwear
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- If canceled because of dangerous weather, you will be given the option of an alternative tour date or full refund
- Please note: the operator reserves the right to deviate from the route of the tour in the event of marches, parades, and circumstances beyond their control
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Once the tour begins, if you make the decision to not follow the guide or their instructions, we cannot guarantee we can reunite you with the group.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age.

Great guide, with interesting knowledge and fun. - Rory at Top Dog Tours was fantastic!
He made the tour interesting to a wide audience group, taking us to, and where applicable, walking around certain buildings to take pictures.
His knowledge was great, and always ready to answer any questions.
He had a great manor, and English sense of humour!
This was one of the highlights of our trip to New York.
My kids were 13 and 9, one very into his comics, the other not as much. But both found it very interesting.

Great tour, something for everyone. - Really enjoyed this tour, Rory was very informative, funny and entertaining. Lots of detail on comic heroes etc plus interesting history of the buildings and places we visited would highly recommend.

Fun and welcoming - Liz was so knowledgeable, and really patient with a very inquisitive spiderman fan from another family. It was just 2 parties and I feel we got to experience the tour in a more personal way. We got to see places we would never have thought to look for. We got some amazing photos and would highly recommend anyone, not just superman's to go experience this tour. Thank you Liz 😊

NYC superhero crash course - Patrick was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He entertained us with a plethora of details about superhero origin stories, movies, tv shows and comics. We visited several locations where movies were filmed. My 21 year old superhero fan loved the tour and asked our guide lots of questions. Fun way to spend a couple of hours in NYC!

Great for superhero fans - Liz was a great guide. Very passionate and knowledgeable on all things superhero. Good tour to do if you’re a Marvel / DC fan as things get pointed out to you which you may not have seen. Unfortunately it was torrential rain when we did the tour, but we still enjoyed it.
I was hoping you may be able to see some more sights and there be more pictures comparing it to the films. However Liz did explain that many films are not actually filmed in NYC now. I am also aware that filming locations are very spread out across the city. It would’ve been great if a list of other locations could’ve been given if you’d like to explore them yourself after the tour.

AMAZING!! - Our guide Liz was absolutely superb! She was extremely knowledgeable and you could feel the passion she had about super heroes. A truly spectacular way to see the city from a different angle. Liz made us feel safe and added some special memories to our trip. Thank you so much!

Excellent tour - We really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide, Percy, was full of knowledge about comic books, related movies and New York in general. With some good humour thrown in too.
Our 14 year old said it was his favourite part of the vacation so that's high praise indeed.

Overpriced and rude back office employees - Our tour guide was very good, however, my interactions with customer support were less than satisfactory due to their rude attitude, which unfortunately detracted from the overall positive experience of the tour.
