Discovering the invisible in NYC - When we go to a new city we walk. Tens of thousands of steps every day. One of the first things we do is find a grass roots walking tour to kick off our visit. To get a glimpse of the soul of the city and a locals view of where to go next, beyond the cliche tourist lists. Dave and his walk did just that. He pointed out all sorts of facts and history of the area that is invisible if you just walk and look by yourself. Detailed background of the visible structures and history of things you may not even look twice at. Thanks Dave and Manhattan Walking Tours S and A

Informative, interesting and personal - fantastic tour. - Highly recommend this tour, and specifically this company. Their customer service is exceptional. Dave was a wonderful guide. He was personable, knowledgeable and shared with us parts of the city that we would not have been able to discover on our own. He had a vast array of knowledge about the area - history, architecture, food, music and more. Our teenagers very much enjoyed the tour also.

The guides are what make Manhattan Walking Tours the best - Another great tour of NYC with Manhattan Walking Tours! Our guide, Jake, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable andavailabavailabavailabavailabavailabavailabavailabavailabavailablavailablable to flex based on some of our individual neêds. Food selected was unique, not things we would have known about on our own. He was able to answer our questions and not just tell us what was on the script.
