An Engaging Tour - Our tour guide, Rayn, was excellent. He was so knowledgeable, funny, and engaging while managing our group during a tour of Penn Station. I’m a daily commuter into Penn and I learned a ton on this tour that I’ll always remember. I’d highly recommend Rayn and his positively charming tours.

Excellent Tour Experience! - Touring with Rayn was a blast! We so enjoyed his experience and knowledge about the stations and their history. Rayn addressed all our questions with background, stories and illustrations. His insight and experience was amazing. One of the best tours we’ve done before! We’re planning on another tour with Rayn for a subway history tour. We can’t wait!

Amazed and delighted! - Our Grand Central Terminal tour with Rayn was wonderful! It was thorough, well-paced, focused on history and also on contemporary influences and changes, and best of all it was full of surprises. I've picked up a few interesting facts about GCT over the 40 years I've lived in NYC, but Rayn's encyclopedic knowledge blew me away. This is my second excursion with him (I highly recommend his Subway Tour) and there will be many more. Whatever tour he offers, sign up -- I promise it will be first-rate!

Loved the Secrets of Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal Tour. - Fascinating 2 hours with our tour guide, Rayn Riel. Incredibly interesting without ever getting boring. Fast-paced but not rushed. I've been riding the rails at Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal for over 50 years and thought I knew a lot of things about both historic venues but Rayn's tour was fresh and fun! Highly recommended.

Satisfied customer! - Rayn is an excellent guide and a lot of fun to spend a few hours with. He really knows his stuff, providing an exorbitant amount of historical context, but has an easygoing vibe and is open to questions and requests. I loved finding remnants of the old Penn Station hidden amidst the modern fixtures of the new. And finding lesser known spots in Grand Central was amazing.

Excellent Find When You've Taken All the NYC Tours - I echo what many other reviewers who've taken this tour compliment Rayn on: He's passionate about transportation, well-prepared, gracious and accommodating and really knowledgeable. I don't think our group came up with question about the two stations and the NYC subway system that he couldn't answer! As someone who's lived in New York City twice and visited dozens of times, I still learned several new factoids and found out about hidden gems within Grand Central and Penn Station. Highly recommend this tour, which is well worth its reasonable price.

Excellent Tour - an absolute must do!! - I had a truly magical morning with Rayn! He had scheduled to show me Penn Station and Grand Central, though we also ventured on to Times Square and squeezed in the old City Hall abandoned subway station loop. He even very kindly escorted me to my next destination, which was great as a solo female traveller in New York. As for the tour itself, it was BRILLIANT. So many interesting facts, hidden oddities and history, and photos of before/afters. The detail he has put into this tour should not go unrecognised - give the tour a go! You won’t regret it!
