Wonderful museum - 2nd visit to this museum. Nice museum with lots of highlights. The price per ticket is fair and you could make it a 3-4 hour visit, there is enough to see and explore. Also the xtra expositions (paid extra) are interesting.

Excellent museum - Excellent museum. No issues. A must go if you have small kids or love nature. The food is way overpriced. Be forewarned.

I highly recommend taking the time to visit this museum and taking up the free tour. when you arrive. - When I arrived at this museum, I went on their free tour before setting off on my own to explore and I am so glad I did. I was the only person on my tour as I went during the week. My tour guide was a retired eye sugeon from Texas who knew the museum exhibits incredibly well. He was extremely knowledgable and also a lovely person. The tour was such a great starting point for my exploration. After my tour, I went to the Secret Life of Elephants exhibition, just wow! and the hall of north american mammals - incredible diaramas! Then I explored the rest of the museum. I had the best day and I highly recommend taking the time to visit this museum.

Impressive Museum + A Must Visit! - A must-visit when in NYC, especially if you enjoy museums. Just be aware that it is HUGE, and you will likely want to spend a half-day to a full day to truly enjoy the museum in its entirety. I absolutely loved the Blue Whale exhibit / documentary. It’s a truly immersive museum and I left beyond impressed. It’s also right across the street from Central Park, so you can take a walk there after.

Well worth a visit! - 3 generations on vacation together, and this was a request of our 8 year old. Buy your tickets online beforehand - you can even scan the QR outside the museum to purchase. We spent 3 hours and it wasn't nearly enough. The docents were all very knowledgeable and answered questions about the dinosaurs that my son had - one even gave him a miniature dinosaur of his own to keep! Great experience

A must! - Fantastic museum. Spare at least half a day with a couple of breaks. So much to see! Gift shop prices are outrageous. Exhibitions are excellent! A must.

Excellent for families, cold weather things to do - Great for kids, families. So much to explore. We had to hit all the things we’ve seen in Night At The Museum of course. Could explore for hours. Great cold weather day activity.

Museum - Of course it was beautiful, but it reminded us of Washington DC to much. The museums were very similar in many ways. Warm and nice place to visit when raining outside! But overall not for my kids per se. But lovely!

Great museum for natural history buffs - Luckily I had got tickets in advance, apparently this is the only way to go. Even though it was a Monday morning, and school was in, the line went around the block. Luckily it went quite quickly and got through security in a couple of minutes. Lots to see of course, and would advise knowing what you would really like to see and do that.
