Highlights
  • St. Paul’s Chapel - We will start the tour at St. Paul’s Chapel, New York City’s oldest public building still in continuous use. Just one block away from the 9/11 attacks, it miraculously survived the falling building and debris. St. Paul’s Chapel served as a makeshift rescue center during the aftermath. Its iron fence became a bulletin board where family members posted notices of their missing loved ones. Today, with the mementos received from people around the world supporting New York City, the church serves as both a landmark and a tribute.
  • The Oculus - The outside structure of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, is the subway entrance and extensive shopping center.
  • The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum - Enter the 911 Museum with exclusive skip the line access. Admission to the museum is only included if that option is selected.

Impressive - The tour was very informative and executed an appropriate pace. Having a tour guide who has a sibling loss in 9/11 made it very informative and so realistic.

George is amazing! - We were so overwhelmed by this visit. We had so many emotions. Listening to the victims families was tear jerking. Hugely respectful museum to the victims and families. I loved speaking to George, (volunteer), and his incredible insight. You are an asset to the museum and it was wonderful speaking with you. I really hope everyone gets to speak with you.

Outstanding Tour of the 9/11 events - The 9/11 Memorial Ground Zero Tour is well worth the time. Our guide Jaclyn was outstanding with the events of that day. She described the timeline as the two hijacked jets stuck the two towers. The third jet crashing into the Pentagon and the fourth into a field in Shanksville. She showed us St Paul's church were all the memorials were laid along the fence. The fire station that was adjacent to the site from which the first responders to the buildings. The two reflecting pools where the towers stood with the names of of those that died that day. We did not take the optional museum tour because we visited the 9/11 museum in Shanksville twice.

The quote of the day “ a carnival of death” - We all know what happened on the 11th September 2001, however to hear the stories from a passionate New Yorker brought tears to my eyes. Jim Quinn our guide relived the day as we walked around the memorial site. Like Sept 11th a clear blue sky day we start at St Paul’s walking down to the World Trade Center site. We had chosen to go to the Museum and Jim escorted us to the front of the line. This is must see exhibit, followed by a ride to the top of the freedom tower, just fabulous views. Top tour, strongly recommend.

Granny Takes NYC - My grandmother has been wanting to see the 9/11 Memorial for so long, and our first plans to do it were foiled by Covid. Four years later, we made it, and this tour was wonderful. Jim was awesome, and his stories were what my grandmother raved over the most. Visiting is always emotional, and Jim absolutely did the tour and the memorial proud. Highly recommend! Thank you for helping to make my 91 year old Granny’s trip so special!

Great morning at a humbling location! - This walking tour around the 9/11 Memorial area was fantastic. While it is obviously a place of reverence, our guide, Jim Quinn, did a masterful job of bringing us, as close as possible, to the events of that horrendous day. For me, it was my first time visiting the 9/11 Memorial. And it was an emotional visit thinking about all those we lost on that day, not only here in New York, but also at the Pentagon and near Shanksville, PA. I would highly recommend this tour and you would be very lucky to get Jim assigned as your guide.
