Additional Information

5th Avenue has been a coveted location since the inception of the United States. The formation of Central Park, however, propelled it to a premium address where top-notch architects were engaged by the affluent and renowned to outshine their contemporaries. What we see now is the result of over a century’s worth of fascinating art, gossip, and mirth.

We’ll initiate our journey from the Plaza Hotel situated on the southeastern corner of Central Park and stride up along 5th Avenue, pausing at major spots, in the park, and on the adjoining streets. Our trail concludes approximately at the intersection of 92nd Street and 5th Avenue.
