Great location! - Great spa. The outside pool with a view of lower Manhattan is unique! Truly recommended in both winter and summer! Plan to be there at sunset, also to enjoy a good drink after a hard day in the sauna :)

Can’t wait to get back!! - My favorite place to relax in New York City!!QC NY Spa is an absolute gem! Every season has its own treats but I really enjoy winter. From the moment you step in, you’re enveloped in a serene atmosphere that makes you forget the hustle and bustle outside. The spa’s extensive range of pools, saunas, and relaxation rooms is impressive, each space thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience. The outdoor heated pools with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline are a true highlight! Book in advance to ensure your tickets. I can’t wait to get back!!

Excellent! - I loved this spa! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and everything about the experience was professional, luxurious, relaxing and rejuvenating. The view over the city from the outside pool during sunset is a highlight for sure, and the water was delightfully warm even though the air was freezing. But the other parts of the spa are incredible too. We were older than the average weekend clientele, and maybe next time would go during the week, but it was a tremendous day. Highly recommend to New Yorkers who need a day of R&R a stone's throw away.

Amazing Experience - I recently visited QC Spa, and I can't stop raving about the experience!
The interior is just as beautiful and calming as the views—elegantly designed with soft lighting, soothing colors, and comfortable spaces to relax in.
We loved grabbing a bite to eat in the Bistro and a glass (maybe 2) of wine.
If you're looking for a place to unwind and rejuvenate both body and mind. QC Spa in NYC is an absolute must-visit. It's not just a spa; it's an experience that lingers long after you leave. Highly recommend!

Best Day EVER! - I came to QC with very high expectations, and not only were they met, but they were also exceeded in ways I hadn't even anticipated. The outdoor pools, water experiences, sauna/steam rooms all provided a level of relaxation that was beyond incredible, creating a true sanctuary for wellness.
I have been to many other spas where you are able to spend a whole day on the property, however QC was far beyond anywhere else I have ever visited. I am looking forward to the day I am able to come back.
I would HIGHLY, highly, HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is in the area looking for a day of relaxation away from the city.

Great - What a great experience especially in winter.
Looks like they added a few new rooms and now offer a dinner buffet.
The appetizers were wonderful entrees only pasta offerings but decent.
Fills up so if you dont get a table they have sit at coffee style tables which are kinda low to actually have a meal, that was the only downside.
Also be nice if robes had pockets to carry phone for taking pictures

Lack of hospitality - The spa itself was enjoyable but did get crowded as the day went on. There were many rooms and experiences - too many for me to enjoy in only a hour. The masseuse I had was wonderful and the massage very relaxing. But the experience was truly dampened by the rigidity of time constraint and lack of flexibility and hospitality by the staff. I purchased three hours at the spa and a long 75 minute massage within that time. Due to availability when I booked, my massage ended exactly when my 3 hours ended. So I only had about an hour before my treatment to enjoy the spa which wasn't enough time to explore both buildings. They do give you an extra 30 minutes before your locker is not accessible so l was grateful for some extra time to shower and get dressed after my massage but I would have liked some extra time to enjoy the blissfulness from the massage, so before I returned to the locker room I went to the front desk to try to extend my time so l had some more time to relax after my treatment. It’s $25 ann hour. They couldn't use my card on file and the person who checked me in didn't hook up my card to my wristband. They needed my actual credit card to extend the time. I was naked under my robe as I just came from a massage and the robes have no pockets and they didn’t offer any other problem solving solutions, so l just decided to go back and get dressed before I went to eat at the restaurant. Then the restaurant wouldn't let me eat there. Firstly - you're not allowed to wear your clothes. Bathing suit and bathrobe only. The last thing I wanted to do is put on a cold wet bathing suit and robe to dine in. Also, when your time is up, you're not allowed to be there so they wouldn't let me in to eat. So after 5 hours of no food (they offer apples but I didn't want to eat before my treatment and I didn't have one after because I was planning on having dinner) I was starving and knew I wasn't going to eat for at least another hour because I had to wait for the ferry to get back to Manhattan and go find a place to eat. There were no other options for food on the island! I was extremely disappointed with how the staff treated me. I've been to many day spas all over the world and have never experienced such rigidity and lack of hospitality.
It put a huge damper on my experience especially after paying nearly $500 to be there for 3 hours.

Majorly overpriced disappointment - Such an overpriced disappointment. Customer service was abysmal, staff was rude and unhelpful and my massage was poor at best. It is criminal that what they charged for the day (est $350 for massage service and entry) vs. what I actually received.
When we arrived at the spa, we were rushed and someone just kept yelling at us to stand on the line marker they have; there were like 6 people behind the desk, doing nothing. Because of the timing with the ferry, we had about 20 minutes to spare from arrival to the start of our massage appointment. This should have been enough time, had there been any efficiency at check in. Once we got squared away, we were told to go to our lockers, change quick and hurry down to the massage therapy room. They gave us no direction as to where the lockers were (this place is kind of a maze with multiple levels) and there was no one available to help. We could not find the correct lockers in the short time we had, so we had no choice just to go to the massage area in our street clothes, with all of our stuff. Not a very relaxing way to start the day. Once we got into the room, it was a fight for them to give us a robe to leave with. Apparently it is against policy to provide an extra robe. The logic is because there are robes in the lockers. But when you can’t get into your locker, the policy should be moot… (and to be honest, for the cost of this place, they really should give their customers however many robes they want, without rude pushback!). After the massage was over and with some management intervention, robes were provided, so as to avoid having to put back on our street clothes.
The massage itself sucked. I get massages often and this was on the top 3 list of the worst I have received. Apparently it is against policy (another stupid policy…) to apply any kind of deep tissue pressure so my massage therapist basically pet me for 50 minutes. She also neglected to massage my neck, shoulders or head. It also felt like she was running out the clock. Like she spent more time organizing her lotions and fluffing the blankets than she did actually massaging me. Also, it’s February in NYC. It’s cold. The treatment rooms are cold, and the table is not heated.
After the massage, the pools and sauna were fine, nothing mind blowing. It was a cold day and the wind whips off the river, hard. There is no barrier between the pools and the river, so it is double cold down there. Once we finally got our robes, we were shocked to learn they did not have pockets; there was no where to put your phone, towel, or anything else you want with you for the afternoon. I stored my phone in the hood of my robe (probably not the best choice but my only option). The wind flung my phone out of the hood and I couldn’t find it anywhere. I asked the life guards and customer service for help looking for it and/if anyone turned in a phone, but everyone was rude and unhelpful. Fortunately, I found it in my own, but this isn’t something that should have happened in the first place.
When it was time to leave, my locker would not open. We were on a time crunch to catch the next ferry back. I had to go downstairs to the desk, in my wet bathing suit and robe to tell them it wouldn’t open. The girl assures me she will send someone up right away. 15 minutes go by, I’m still wet and cold with no locker access. I had to go back downstairs again (there are no locker room attendants) and the same girl was down there and clearly forgot about me. I was finally able to access my stuff and get out of there
This whole experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I was so looking forward to a relaxing spa day and was met with rudeness, poor service and weird policies. Save your time, money and sanity- do yourself a favor and go to any of the amazing NYC spas that provide top notch service AND do not require the extra inconvenience of a ferry.
