Radiating the opulent charm of New York’s Gilded Age, the ornate townhouses of the Upper East Side stand as monuments to the affluent families that significantly contributed to the city’s development. On this Upper East Side Architecture Tour, participants will explore highlights from this Victorian-era legacy, including the Henry Clay Frick mansion, the Metropolitan Museum, the French Consulate, and, of course, Central Park. Additionally, the tour will feature modern masterpieces such as the Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloyd Wright and the former Whitney Museum by Marcel Breuer.
