Simply the best - John is the best tour guide ever. We had an amazing time having travelled from the UK. The tour is worth every penny! Whether or not you are an avid fan or not.

A Tour You Can’t Refuse! Take it! - My son and I had an amazing experience on this tour! Johnathon was absolutely fantastic, he seemed very passionate about what he does and had many great stories about behind the scenes of The Sopranos. We have been on a lot of guided tours in the past and this was by far our favorite we’ve taken. I haven’t even watched the show but I was just as entertained as my son who is a Sopranos enthusiast. Highly recommend!

Pure fun despite no sun - It was wet and grey on the day of our tour but still great fun with our highly informed guide. We saw most of the key locations and managed a cocktail at the bar of the Bada Bing! The tour was a birthday treat from my husband. My first time in a bar of that nature but hey there’s a first time for everything! My only disappointment is that we’d have liked to spend more time in Holsten’s and the Bing Club. But we covered a lot of ground in the four hours.

Bada Bing, Bada Boom! - I bought this trip as a 30th birthday present for my son and put simply, I couldn’t have been happier with how it worked out! The previous reviewer, Cruiser, has expertly covered the majority of the exact same points I was going to make, so I won’t repeat them so soon here (thank you Cruiser, I assume we met on today’s trip, so hello again) but I would like to endorse/add a few from my experience: - John the Tour Guide. John was indeed amazing…very down-to-earth and friendly from start to finish, making everyone feel welcome and delivering a highly interesting, detailed talk in a very professional manner (he showed a lot of acting / public speaking skills!) His relaxed manner, detailed recollections of the show and great good humour really made the trip. - Eduardo the driver was, as Cruiser says, also very friendly and we shared a few laughs along the way too. He was always considerate in helping people on and off the van and worked well with John to create a fun atmosphere. - The locations…especially the two main places we visited - Holstons Diner and the ‘Bada Bing’ club were made even more enjoyable by the staff working there (John rang ahead to have them be ready for us, help keep us on time etc)… In particular Brandon (a really nice guy who worked at Holstons for years, took a break and was on his second day back!) who took time to have a chat with us as well as serve the most amazing Onion Rings (yes fellow fans - exactly as Tony ordered in the last episode!) and then Bernie, the manageress in the Satin Dolls (Bada Bing) club who came to chat while we were having a drink there… a truly lovely lady who made us feel so welcome asking where we were from and telling me about her trips to Europe. - our fellow Sopranos fans, especially the very sweet and funny Hannah ( no spoilers, please…now get binging the box-set!), her equally lovely and Sopranos aficionado Jamie (felt like I’d known you guys for years, thank you for being so friendly), Robert from walking around, cheers Rob!, the lady at the back of the bus with the lovely laugh, the lovely Kansas couple and the rest who helped make it all even more fun! Thank you for your company and I hope you enjoy the rest of your NYC visit and have safe journeys home. All in all this was a very interesting and fun experience (just imagine sitting in THAT Diner, in THAT booth!) that I’d recommend you do if you’re looking for something a little unusual on Sopranos, and informative and fun thanks especially to the Tour guide. Recommended.

Brilliant for Any Sopranos Fan - This tour was genuinely great fun — a perfect mix of nostalgia, behind-the-scenes detail, and dry humour. John was excellent — knowledgeable, welcoming, and easy-going, with just the right amount of humour. He clearly knows his stuff and manages to make the experience feel relaxed and engaging rather than overly scripted. Eduardo was equally brilliant — friendly, charming, and patient. He slowed down at all the key spots so everyone could grab their photos, and even helped people off the minibus like a pro. It’s really good value when you think about it — four hours of entertainment and insight into one of TV’s greatest shows. You get to walk in the footsteps of the actors, stand where scenes were filmed, and properly soak up that familiar atmosphere. Even though some locations (like Satriale’s Pork Store) are long gone, it doesn’t take away from it — if anything, it makes it more interesting to see how the area’s changed. The only small downside is the vehicle itself — it’s more of a standard airport minibus than a “tour bus,” so the windows aren’t ideal for everyone to get the same photo angles. A better-designed vehicle would make it perfect. You don’t visit Tony’s house (it’s too far out and later scenes were filmed in a studio), but overall the tour covers plenty of memorable spots. For any Sopranos fan, it’s a must-do — you’ll leave wanting to rewatch the whole series. ⸻

Excellent tour with an awesome guide - Dean. A must do for any Sopranos fan - If you are a fan of the Sopranos this is a must do while you are in New York. Tour went for around 4 hours and was fantastic. You get to cover a lot of ground throughout New Jersey and get to see and stop off at the iconic spots in the show. I went on the private tour option with a small group - a bit more expensive but definitely worth it. Our guide Dean was excellent and provided a huge amount of information for the group. Dean made the entire experience awesome from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour for any Sopranos fan

I did not appreciate... - I did not appreciate having to ride in the third row of a Chrysler Pacifica. I was extremely uncomfortable. Just because their was only five of us does mean that you should have but us in a small van.

Very poor organisation - Changed the time of the tour and didn’t inform me either by phone or email so we missed it. In fact the day before I received a message re the tour that still stated 10a.m. Got a message on the morning of the tour from the guide asking if we were still coming (received just after 9am but as we were walking to the meeting point I didn’t see it immediately) and I replied saying yes we were there waiting (half an hour before tour should have started at 10) only for him to then reply they had left at 9 so we wouldn’t be able to go.
