What a view - Im not a lover of heights but this was definitely worth going up. You are taken to the top in seconds where you get a 360 degree view of Manhattan, New Jersey and Connecticut (45 miles on a clear day). You can also make the use of a tablet that shows you different landmarks of the area you are looking at. Huge windows allows you to see everything. There is also a restaurant, cafe bar and a drinks bar. We didn’t book. it was $45 dollars for a 30 minute wait at the time we went or $64 to have entry straight away but you also got a $15 dollar voucher to spend at the bar. As we intended to have a drink anyway this was the best option for us.

One World Observatory - This experience was amazing, one of the best we did in NYC. We had tickets for the day before and it was zero visible so staff recommended we change the day free of charge and it was easy to do and the staff were friendly and informative. The day we visited was a beautiful clear day, the views were spectacular. We had cocktails and flight of beers in the bar. Matthew was our bar tender and like the rest of the bar staff he was really friendly. They took time to talk to us and give us information about the city. We would have loved to be able to come back to the bar to see the staff again and to have a meal but to do this we would have to buy another day experience ticket. Access to bar and restaurant only would be great and we would have definitely returned for a meal. Over all everyone that works at One World Observatory was great. Thank you very much. We would visit again if we are ever back in the city.

The most spectacular views you will see all over the world - I have to say that visiting the observatory at One World Trade Center is like being on top of the world the views are so amazing. You did not just see all over New York City but into New Jersey as well. I could see the Wonder wheel at Coney Island you could see so far. I have been there in the evening in the past and that is when it’s the most amazing. You can see all over the City from this vantage point. I have been to the top of the tallest building in the World in Dubai and still not show the views you would see from here.

Outstanding Views and a Celebration of the Resilience of the City and Country - Excellent 3 story observation deck on the 100th-102nd floors of One World Trade Center which was constructed on the site of the former World Trade Center complex that suffered the horrific terrorist attack on 9/11. This is the tallest building in the US and in the Western Hemisphere and is the 7th tallest in the world. The 360-degree views of NYC including of Manhattan, the surrounding boroughs and of the New York Harbor are amazing. The ride up and down in the elevator is quite an experience in itself depicting the transformation of the city since its founding. Although it is all enclosed, the windows in the observatory are from floor to ceiling. Not as nostalgic as the Empire State Building and missing the adrenaline of being outside, but the views from One World Trade Center are probably the best in the city. We chose the more expensive timed entry skip the line tickets. As it turns out, this was unnecessary on a weekday morning in April when we visited as lines were short. They may be more useful during busier times such as weekends or at sunset. A visit here is not just enjoying some amazing views but it is quite moving as it is a celebration of the resilience of the city and country following the devastating attack that took place in 2001.

A great view of New York - It is definitely worth visiting the One World Observatory. An indescribable 360 degree view over New York. Don't be confused by the "business introductions" (iPad guides/photos), just walk through and enjoy the view (...and enjoy the elevator rides)

Great view ! - Superb view over New York from this magnificent tower! Climb in 42 seconds to the 102nd floor. We had the very practical skip-the-line ticket but there were still few people! Upstairs, plenty of space and windows to see everything! A must do

Great view – mediocre ambience in the restaurant - It is clear that you have a magnificent view of NYC from the One World Observatory (almost 400 m). However, you should be lucky that the weather plays along. So if you bought your ticket some time in advance, perhaps even in connection with a visit to the One Dine restaurant on the 102nd floor, you could be very disappointed if the view is not good due to bad weather. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended to buy your ticket in advance to avoid long waiting times at the ticket offices and elevators. In any case, we were able to go up immediately in one of the impressive "digitalized video screen elevators" and were almost alone in the elevator. When booking our restaurant visit online, we had to state whether it was a birthday, which was the case. And we were asked again at reception. But that was it. There were no consequences (e.g. a candle or a small cake). So we didn't understand the point of this question. The food in the restaurant was fine; However, we were not expecting fine dining at the highest level. The service was friendly and efficient, but we were a little disappointed with the ambience that evening. While we were dressed quite smartly, we saw several guests in shorts, short T-shirts and flip-flops or sandals, as if they had just come from the beach. Of course, the restaurant's owners are only interested in money, but as a guest, especially if you are dressed a little better, you would wish that in such a spectacular place you did not necessarily find the ambience of a fast-food restaurant. Although this is not to say anything against fast-food restaurants per se. Ultimately, the building lives from its height with the phenomenal view and is therefore worth a visit.

There are better observation decks in NYC. - The view is great, you can see all of Manhattan from downtown! But unfortunately the glass is very thick, which isn't always very clean and spoils the view a bit! You have a "far-reaching view" of the city, but it's nowhere near as good as the views from the Empire State Building or Rockefeller Top of the Rock. I wouldn't choose this deck a second time! But it was worth the trip up once!

Don’t waste your money - The experience was ok. We were disappointed. It’s very crowded. The iPad thing is a joke. They don’t work very well and are cumbersome to carry around. The restaurant is a skip. It was very disappointing
