Loved it - Loved the open-top bus. The views from the top deck were breath-taking. I also loved the easy hop-on hop-off system. Worth it!

A must do - Our tour guide Shawn was top notch. Very informative and funny. It was a fantastic addition to our trip. The tour was the perfect length and touched on several different aspects of NY. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody that visits NY.

Good bang for buck - It was a good experience. One of the bus stops was not in service so we had to walk several blocks. Also, its slow so make sure you have plenty of time.

Great Tour Drive - The tour was wonderful, seeing and learning about the difference places, street signs and communities in NYC. The native were friendly waving to us as we passed by. See, yoga in the park with a large group of people was amazing. I won a candy for partially getting the trivia question correct. DUMBO, down under Manhattan Bridge, I left off the overpass. Wonderful tour.

Bad experience with Topview Tour Bus New York - If you go to New York City, do not use Topview Tours. We purchased a 4 day attraction pass for 2 people and it was horrible service. All sales are final, that should have been a red flag and they do not provide for feedback on their website. Go with Big Bus, they have more buses than Topview so you won't spend your vacation waiting on a bus and missing your reservations for attractions

Organised Chaos - Booked this as part of a wider deal, one price to access bas and get in many attractions in NYC. The original plan was to take the lower route on our first day and take the upper route on the final day. The lower route worked out fine, we were at the stop well before the 8am scheduled leave time and got the back row of the bus and waited to set off. And waited. And waited. The bus filled and eventually we set off, I listened to the pre-recorded audio tour, which I enjoyed, hearing about all the different places we could see. This was a long loop around, taking about 2.5 hours in total, so we got off at the lowest part of the city and explored from there. After a long hike from our final attraction, we were delighted to see not one but two buses were waiting to leave, and just a small queue. We got in line and then both buses drove off with empty seats onboard, leaving several parties waiting in the hot weather. Coincidentally, someone then appeared selling water... Hmmm.... Had to wait in line another 20 mins for the next bus to arrive, which should loop near to where we started. However it didn't. At the final stop, everyone had to disembark to walk to the next stop to get back onto the loop, i.e., the numerical last number didn't loop back round to stop number 1. Not what I expected. Two days later, we decided to take the upper route, walked to the nearest stop, but was told the next bus was 45 minutes away. Didn't want to hang around, so we set off walking, the ladies were going to Central Park and I was walking to Grants Tomb. Never got overtaken by the bus. The truth to all the attractions is that if you pay full price for one, you will probably feel short changed, getting the deal where you can do many things cheapens the price and is equally mediocre.

If you have a lot of time to wait then it’s worth it. - It all sounded great. Overall it wasn’t terrible. But, be prepared to wait forever. Every trip on the bus (due to traffic) takes 2x as long as it should. We waited an hour in line to get on the bus for the Evening Skyline Tour and about 30 mins for Brooklyn tour. Then had to pay for the bike rental when we were told it was free. Half the tour guides were rude but I can imagine the amount of tourists who are rude to them would wear on them. If you are going to use this as a means of getting around then I’d say just take the subway. If you are patient and have a lot of free time to wait around or sit on a bus FOREVER during your holiday then it’s totally worth it. I would say only do 1 maybe two days and hope you can get a booking spot for the tours to at are available. 4 days was a waste of money.
