This classic sailboat is comfortable, elegant and smooth at 105-feet in length with 3600 square feet of sail, providing the most exceptional day sailing one can find in New York Harbor. Step aboard this beautiful boat with teak decks and mahogany trim and relax as the crew raises sail and offers beverage service. Highlights include sailing past World One, Manhattan’s towering financial district, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. A great experience for families and friends looking for a relaxing and fun experience in New York Harbor.

The boat departs from Chelsea Piers, on Pier 62, which is located at West 22nd Street and the Hudson River. We are at the northern end of the Chelsea Piers Complex on the water. Our ticket booth is located steps from the dock on Pier 62. Check in at the Classic Harbor Line ticket booth upon arrival.

We had the most incredible experience on a harbor line cruise around the Statue of Liberty, and we can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we stepped aboard, the staff made us feel completely at ease, like we were part of their sailing family. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuine, which really set the tone for the journey.
Captain Amber was absolutely outstanding. Her steady hand at the helm and her approachable personality created such a welcoming atmosphere. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and her passion for sailing was infectious. She made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and fully immersed in the beauty of the harbor.
The entire service was exceptional—attentive without ever being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. It felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into a whole new world of sailing, where everything is calm, enjoyable, and full of wonder. Seeing the Statue of Liberty from that vantage point was breathtaking, but it was the people—the captain and the crew—that made the experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a harbor cruise that goes above and beyond, this is the one to take. Truly five stars all around.

Magical Experience! - My husband and I took the sunset sail from Chelsea Piers last week on the America 2 schooner. The boat was clean, the crew was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were very accommodating and even took photos of us. Even though we were born and raised in New York watching the city light up is always a magical experience as was sailing close up to Lady Liberty. The sunset was magnificent. I would highly recommend this cruise to both natives and visitors alike.

Day Sail to Statue of Liberty - The best time. It was perfect. The captain and 2 deck hands were absolutely the best. If you want a beautiful sailboat cruise with the best people then you should go. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Sailing NYC Schooner America 2.0 - Would highly recommend, we had great weather and it was a great way to be outside and celebrate July 4th. The crew were super friendly and my husband had a chance to be at the wheel which was fun!

Great crew and all around afternoon - One of my favorite things to do when I visit the city!! You see the magnificent city from the water, enjoy the Statue of Liberty and escape the madness of traffic and people for a few hours!!

Awesome way to view NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty - Beautiful boat, very kind staff. Was awesome to watch the staff raise and lower the sails. Our family had a great time. Kids aged 6-16.

THE BEST way to see the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan landscape. A MUST!!! - We HIGHLY recommend this trip. The boat is gorgeous, the captain and his team are amazing, lovely and very fun. The trip itself was 2 hours which flew by. Honestly, THE BEST way to see the Statue of Liberty and the landscape of Manhattan. Add this to your list of things to do in NYC!!! Million thanks to the great team.
