We loved the Hip Hop tour today, we learnt so much history, best day of our trip so far. Thank you - WOW Rayza was our tour guide today, An amazing artist who taught myself and my daughter to the history and origins of Hip Hop. Full of talent as well. My daughter did not want the tour to end and wanted to hang out with Rayza all day. To walk around Harlem has been my favourite part of our trip so far. Exciting walk through the streets. Where hip hop originated. - Cool rapper took the lead. When will I get a completely different view of New York if you listen to him? The conditions in Harlem are simply very different from those in lower Manhattan. It is indeed for tourists, but very well done.

Walk This Way tour Harlem & Bronx - We did the "Walk this Way" tour in Harlem & Bronx. Mike Cee was our guide, highly recommended! You will see a lot of sights in 2 hours and get a lot of stories and facts from the guide, also non hip hop related stories (eg the mosque of Malcolm X, the church of Martin Luther King and certain jazz clubs). Definitely a must if you are in New York!

A must-do on your trip to NYC - We just returned to the UK from a first time 7 night trip to NYC. We had Harlem and Bronx on our intinery but when we saw Hush tours advertised on Google, we booked us onto the Harlem Walking tour. The tour was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The tour was led by the legendary Mighty Mike Cee and his lovely cousin, who provided a great musical backdrop throughout the route and was very helpful. Mike has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Harlem, not only the hip hop scene but more generally, and he provided us with tons of information on all the sites of historical interest in the neighbourhood. He is such a talented and articulate story teller, and we did not want to miss a single word! We stopped off for photo shoots next to a backdrop of gorgeous graffiti, he even let us stop off for a quick coffee break, very considerate. I mean it when I say that this was probably the highlight of our entire trip to NYC. And that’s saying a lot because we had a truly magnificent holiday from start to finish. My only regret is that due to our schedule, we were unable to book onto the longer Bronx/Harlem tour. But honestly, I thoroughly recommend you make this a must-do on your NYC trip. One thing: please do remember to take cash to tip your hosts. We did, but the others who came on the tour (who were also late) didn’t, that is just really not good manners because for a tour of this standard, and a one of a kind tour at that, you really should take a tip to show your appreciation, even if it’s only a few dollars. Myself and my husband would like to convey our gratitude to Mike and all at Hush tours for making our trip so special. We recommend this tour 100%.

The best tour in New York - We did a few tours and activities while in New York, and all of us thought this one was the best! Really informative and really fun.

Harlem Hip-Hop walking tour - Highly recommend the Harlem Hip-Hop walking tour. It explains the history of Harlem and the birth/rise of hip-hop. We had the very charismatic and energetic tour guide RayZa, a talented artist himself who performs brilliantly during the tour. If you’re in New York, a hip-hop fan or not, do the tour you won’t be disappointed! (Good luck in the UK RayZa, it was a pleasure to meet you).

Fun tour! - Mike Z is an awesome tour guide. A hip hop artist himself, he is very knowledgeable of the genre and also of the neighborhood’s history. He knows how to keep the group interested with fun and curious stories.
